I emailed Mr. Cooper and he assures me these are legitimate uses of his sculpts.

Had his name and Paleocraft right on the box for the '16 release of the Coelocanth.

The Mammoth' picture says "SuperVinyl Series" Wonder of the Wild, so... it should be vinyl..

Pre-orders are open for the X-Plus Ray Harryhausen 100 Years Anniversary Series Polystone Triceratops... BBTS has it priced at $350. The figure comes with a polystone base, and tiny figures of Loana and Tumak, but those aren't featured in any of the photos I've seen so far. The base for the Triceratops will pair with the base for the polystone Ceratosaurus.

I wonder if this means we'll see a soft vinyl Ceratosaurus, like we saw a soft Vinyl Triceratops... well... we WILL see the vinyl Triceratops, eventually... I hope. It's only 8 months late...

I don't know if I'll get this one, I feel like it's just to give options/make a cash grab. It's the same size from the measuring I did against the vinyl one just a different pose. I did buy the vinyl version and have it already from Sideshow, great piece.   The tiny humans were supposed to come with the Ceratosaurus which I have preordered, at least according to pics. This line is starting to feel like it's all over the place.

Pre-ordering soon for the 30cm Gwangi soft vinyl!

I will say the extra features on the DX version, the base and the Pteranodon, aren't really exciting enough to warrant a price difference, IMO. Defo going standard on this...

Blade-of-the-Moon

Waiting to see if Sideshow lists it, otherwise might go with StarAce direct. I would have preferred a living pteranodon myself. Hopefully we get the Styracosaurus too..but resin or vinyl?

I have  feeling we're going to see the Styracosaurus in vinyl, to go with Gwangi... but I'm kind of also expecting the One Million Years B.C. Ceratosaurus, currently only available in polyresin, to have a vinyl version at some point, to go with the vinyl Triceratops.

Really doesn't make sense to make the Ceratosaurus in resin, the Triceratops in resin, the Triceratops AGAIN in vinyl, in the same scale, and then not complete the two sets... but then, this is Japanese toy manufacturing, and X-Plus specifically, they can be a bit... unpredictable.

Yeah that's a fair point and one that worries me a bit.  I mean I figured before any redos they would make new pieces.  I think we were shown a silhouette of the Pteranodon with Loana being carried off we haven't hear any more about. That would be great paired up in a dio with the Ramphorynchus in a fight.

That's true, we didn't even get a sniff of the Pteranodon on that live stream they did specifically for the Harryhausen series.

Hopefully it didnt just end up as Gwangi fodder..

I think the eyes really make it.

Star Ace has revealed that the Woolly Mammoth is to be the first release in the Wonder Of Wild series, and it appears that they've changed the material it will be released in, with the statue now being executed in polyresin, rather than "Super Vinyl" as was indicated earlier in the year.
