Yeah the head certainly could have been better, but hey it's a rarely made Permian species, and another to throw alongside the Dimetrodon, Scutosaurus, and Lystrosaurus. I'm surprised to see them attempt one at all really.

Edit: I think if the head was smaller, and lacked the angry eyebrows, and fenestra, it might be better (edit 2: tail could be longer as well, but par for the course here). Certainly a little better from the side profile then some of the other images:

CityRaptor

Looks a lot like the Jurassic World Alive depiction:
https://jurassicpark.fandom.com/wiki/Edaphosaurus
So one could argue that it is "screen accurate".
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

CityRaptor

That Atrociraptor looks dangerously cheesy. So what is that? One of the JP30 sets? Legacy?

avatar_CityRaptor @CityRaptor No that's one of the new vehicles unrelated to that stuff. Search N Smash or something like that.

Mmmm, pepper jack raptor.

On a serious note, it's cool to have another vehicle from the movies. I think. (Was that from one of the movies? It looks familiar.) Anyway, at least there's also another generic dino-fodder dude.

I don't think it's a one to one recreation of any of the vehicles from the first JW, but it looks like it could be very loosely based on one of the Mercedes vehicles from that movie

I feel like the toy's paintjob somewhat resembles this image of a Mercedes G63 AMG 6×6 I keep seeing on Google, though as far as I can tell, none of the vehicles in the movie actually had this exact paintjob. Not sure if the image is concept art or fanmade, probably the latter.

CityRaptor

Probably the latter, unless Jurassic World is located in Stuttgart in Germany. ;D

Could also be based on the jeeps from the live tour:

They are also apparently in Jurassic World Evolution:

Shrek 4 is an underrated masterpiece

CityRaptor

You know that works pretty well with the intended use of that hybrid as a military weapon. I wonder if any of the Dino Trackers figures with gear are meant to be trained animals working with various organisations, like the DPW for example.

Probably the best looking Indoraptor so far, although this one looks to have no arm articulation, and by that I mean the elbows and wrists.
I hope it can stand well!  It seems a little forward heavy in the image.

What does this one do?

QuoteJurassic World Dominion Track N Attack Indoraptor figure reflects its villainous reputation withhuge claws and jungle biome deco with metallic accents for an iridescent effect. Its 3 attack features include glowing red eyes, chomping action and slash & roar attack. All the actions are paired with sound effects. It comes with a removable tracker harness geared to the Track 'n Attack theme and has articulation for realistic posing or play.

Yeah, it's an interesting "what if the FK villains succeeded" sort of scenario. The headgear reminds me of the cameras they put on the Velociraptors in the first JW

Nyrorosaurus

The head sculpt looks pretty great on this guy. I wonder how hard it would be to take the head off of this one and put it on the super poseable figure

Interesting...thank you! I think the glowing eyes are kind of a bummer because they look black when not in use, plus the older electronic Indoraptor totally broke on me, something inside of it... so now it's stuck with ghoulish black eyes on an already black body.

Pachycephalosaurus and Ray Arnold for Hammond Collection? Both were hinted for the line

Faelrin

avatar_SpartanSquat @RolandEden Yep, both of those are on the list of upcoming figures. Wonder if these are the next reveals coming later this month?

Checked my local Walmart for my friend in Germany recently (he's interested in the Copter Combat pack and the newest Wave of Extreme Damage figures), and what a let down. Only some Therizinosaurus figures, those Owen and Blue packs, and at least one Uncaged Ultimate Pyroraptor in the back. Shelf was also a complete mess, and the Jurassic section was nearly fully replaced, but par for the course for that store. Gonna try to check another tomorrow maybe, but not expecting better, since this area always seems to get new stuff in pretty slowly (and that was pre-covid too mind you), if at all.
