This is my first diorama. It's all very new to me; learning as I go along. Hoping to pick up some tips from more seasoned crafters around these parts.
Constructive criticism much appreciated - would like to get better for the new one. Cheers!

To be honest, that diorama is phenomenal, maybe it should have more space, you could have made the diorama bigger with more space, but the set of the two stegosaurs has been great for you to be the first diorama, it is very beautiful and it also has a tree. or a vegetation.  :)

Fenestra

Love it! The little one peeking out from behind its mum is very cute.
The "tree" works very well. It gives the forest athmosphere to the dioarama.

Thank you! The tree also casts a nice shade over the little guy, giving it a nice, relaxed ambiance with some soft lighting from above.

That's very kind of you! The choice of small space was 100% deliberate, since I'm not confident enough to know what I would do with more space. I got modeling clay to build my own terrain, but chose a wooden platform that would fit the Stegosaurus to limit my options just so I could conentrate on the building part and not have to worry as much about the creative aspect. The back of it has some rocks and a tree, but that's pretty much it. The characters aren't glued down or anything, so I plan on giving them a new home once I get better at the craft.

I got a couple of more I wanted to do this to before I ditch the wooden platforms and make my own terrain with clay and paint.

Very nice display and diorama! I'll be looking forward to see more of your sculpts.

Grimbeard

Great to see that I'm not the only one who thinks that PNSO original Bieber and Rebors Woodland Stegosaur make a great adult+ Juvi pair.

Nice little diorama, keeps the focus on the figures while still providing a nice ground covering and background. Maybe a conifer with small/finer needle would help the illusion of size even more, like a yew or (if avaiable to you) a redwood twig.

Halichoeres

Nice work! Enhances the presentation while being parsimonious with space.
