After a while lurking in this page, I've decided that this is the best place for interacting and sharing ideas with fellow prehistoric animals fan, so here I am.

Like my username, I was born in '90, and my first gateway into this hobby wasn't Jurassic Park, but some encyclopedia from my late grandpa. Man, I was obsessed with nature, especially dinosaurs. I said I want to be a paleontologist, but reality checks in. At least my mother-in-law is an archaeologist  :))

About my collection, I'm currently restarting it, since my old collections went into charities.
So far I only collected Safari ltd. I actually wanted to get some PNSO or Rebor, but I have this little pet peeves, like.... I feel incomplete if I don't collect the whole lineup, and I'm uncomfortable about the differences in a same line, like PNSO's clear base vs solid base. So yeah, while CollectA, Papo, Schleich and Recur are the most common in my city, I decided to went all in to Safari because their 2019 Allosaurus and Stegosaurus are absolute masterpiece.

Sorry for the long introduction, hope you all are okay with weirdo like me.  :)) Cheers!
2022 wish: more Ceratopsian from Safari ltd
Mission: collect them all

Welcome to the forum! We're all weirdos here.

Like you, my gateway to dinosaurs wasn't JP, but books, including one that I pored over every time I was at my grandfather's house.
In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

Greetings.
I actually just resently saw a T-rex on sale originated in Indonesia.
After some inquiries I realized it belongs to this set - It is the only Indonesian dinos that I know of :

Great to see you here. Always good to see more people from more  countries come to this community.  I too was not introduced via Jurassic Park. I was born a bit later than most so I relied mainly on books, documentaries and figures. Enjoy your stay.

Welcome to the DTF. I see that you are a very supportive person when it comes to allocating your old collections to charities says a lot in your favor. Enjoy DTF, I'm glad that globally the love for dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals is spreading. Make yourself at home as I say to all DTF members.

iv been a collector for years and i will say that there has never been so many dinosaur figures and statues as well as resin kits ever before at any time in the past...even when i started collecting properly in 2005 there was nowhere as many dinosaur models or statues available and that includes online as well...
