Nope. Not if you were a kid who happened to love both dinosaurs and building.

I'm sure I would have said pretty much the same at age four :).

suspsy

Maybe you would have. But you can only speak for yourself. I'm not saying you need to like the Hero Mashers, but there are plenty of young dinosaur lovers that do. I find them a lot of fun to fiddle with and I plan on passing down to the next generation.

I imagine different people might feel differently about it.  If I had those when I was a kid, I think I would've been disappointed by how excessively inaccurate some of them are, e.g.: spikes on the Triceratops tail, tusks on the Stegosaurus, the Ichthyosaurus's head, the Ankylosaurus's tail 'mace'.

I think the Predasaurs DNA Fusion are awful though.  They look terrible, their eyes and teeth look particularly artificial and stupid, and the concept is absurd.  A quick Google search showed that there are also other lines, like Predasaurs Insect Invasion (apparently hybrids of dinosaurs and invertebrates) and Predasaurs Aqua Attack (hybrids of dinosaurs and sea animals).  These two lines are even more preposterous than the Predasaurs DNA Fusion!  I wonder if we're going to see these on the Dinosaur Toy Blog too?

I definitely prefer the Jurassic World Hero Mashers to the Predasaurs.

Some kids will definitely care about those details, yes. Some will notice them and still enjoy playing with the toys. And some will simply not care at all. There are countless dinosaur toys out there with any number of anatomical errors, yet they're still being bought. I'm all for accuracy myself, but sometimes I'm just willing to let it slide and have some harmless fun.

I'm not fond of the Predasaurs either, but as long as they strictly involve dinosaurs, I'm willing to let them in the door. Those other ones you mentioned should not make the cut.

Could be worse, they could end up looking like generic dragons...oh, wait:

Sue the T. rex protects your keys!

Oh, I have that one.
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

suspsy

Yeah, those guys are definitely not making the cut.

Apparently that "Tyrantegosaurus" from the Predasaurs DNA Fusion line, Vulltarex (http://dinotoyblog.com/2016/03/23/tyrantegosaurus-predasaurs-dna-fusion-by-simba/), has a different version in each line.  The Dragon Fire version is in that image CityRaptor posted.  The Insect Invasion version can be seen here (scroll down a bit for larger images): http://www.ebay.fr/itm/Predasaurus-Insect-Invasion-tous-les-24-vulltarex-special-personnage-/160877671762  The Aqua Attack version can be seen here: http://www.mindlessshelfindulgence.com/predasaurs-aqua-attack/

I think I honestly prefer the aquatic ones, not enough to ever seek them out, but I think they're somewhat more toned down.
Trans rights are human rights.

Takama

I have no interest in acquiring any of the other Predasaurs figures other the the DNA fusion ones.
