OK Why dos this exist? ::)   You could of asked the comunity first about what animals they wanted to see listed.      There are several species in this list that i doubt they will make because the are too simalar to ones they alredy made (Suchomimus).

DO you know somthing we dont?     Are you connected to Papo somehow?

No, and Suchomimus was not make by Papo. They made Baryonyx though.

Thats my point.   They made a baryonyx which means I doubt they will make a Suchomimus. Because there too simalar.

The Current Ankylosaurus is alredy modeled after a Euoplocephalus, so I doupt they will do a Euoplocephalus proper

Well if the colorations and/or sculptures are different. And Euoplocephalus would have larger spikes.

I doubt its going to happen.   They could make the colors diffrent all they want, but the Public is too Uneducated to know the diffrence.

The Papo Baryonyx seems to work pretty well as a Suchomimus. They are pretty good at making crocodilians --hopefully, their next attempt at a spinosaurid is a successful one. If they could only iron out the kinks and wonky anatomical issues.

Eeh, I think Papo would make Suchomimus more different in color and maybe size and detail.

Papo has so much potential. Would love to see from them in the future:

-an adult apato similar to their 2015 young one, maybe with a more interesting colour scheme. Or maybe a full size diplodocus!

-a larger/more ankylosaurus like ankylosaurus

-a spinosaurus based on current information

-a to-scale deinonychus

-a tyrannosaurus that is not anorexic, vertical, huge-armed, broken-tailed, snaggle-toothed, or otherwise deformed. Love their current rexes but could be so much better! Feathers optional.

-I don't think they could mess up therizinosaurus or giganotosaurus. If they ever do release these, I expect they would be amazing.

-an Iguanodon. Nice and big, please.

-a similarly large walking quetz.

-repaint of their triceratops.

-stego with a beautiful tail held proudly in the air.

-maybe a deinocheirus. Would be interesting to see their take on one.

I realize loads of these are wildly unlikely. I really like papos dinos, though, and these are my dreams :)

I like your hopes for next year, including the Deinocheirus.

"you know you have a lot of prehistoric figures if you have at least twenty items per page of the prehistoric/dinosaur section on ebay." - anon.

The Atroxious

I chose all the theropods except Torvosaurus and Utahraptor because, well, what did you expect from me?

I'm not a huge fan of non-spinosaur megalosaurs, and while I like Utahraptor in fact, I like it a lot less in theory. It's a terribly overrated genus for one thing, and unless Papo would depict it with the weird jaws it's been hinted to have, which I doubt they would, I'd be uninterested on principal.

This said, in general my opinion of Papo has been rapidly improving over the past three years, but I try not to get my expectations too high, since I still have a lot of problems with most of their theropod figures. Even when I think I understand the Papo style, I'm proven wrong. For instance, I was really excited about the Acrocanthosaurus, since I figured that after their beautiful Allosaurus, they had a knack for the carnosaur body plan, only to see that the Acro was incredibly bulky, more like a tyrannosaur than a carnosaur. Same with the Archaeopteryx and Velociraptor. Clearly someone at Papo knows what wings should look like, as the Archaeopteryx wings are some of the best feathered wings I've ever seen on a toy, yet Papo still manages to bork up the wings on the Velociraptor somehow. That still puzzles me to this day.

If they could make a feathered Therizinosaurus with an appropriately small, birdlike head I'd be overjoyed. I feel like they'd take the Schleich or Safari Great Dinos route and make the neck too short and the head too big, however.

I'd love for them to make a suitably awesomebro (and yet structurally accurate) Suchomimus in a good pose. That would solve all the conflicting feelings I have for the gorgeous, but still painfully awkward Baryonyx.

Also, sort of in response to what danmalcolm said, I wouldn't say no to a Deinocheirus, though I'd want it to be cooler than the Safari version. By "cooler" I basically mean to give it full-on wings, instead of bald hands, and possibly other feathery display structures. The Safari version is excellent, but I want to see more wings on my maniraptoriformes, rather than just fuzzy arms and naked hands.

To be honest, I really like Papo's deformed rexes, though I think their tiny bodies make them look kind of ridiculous. Outside of dinosaurs, I also have an interest in teratology, so I like the sort of details put into the running rexes. If anything, I'd like to see more dinosaurs depicted with snaggleteeth and otherwise unusual anatomy, not less.

Patrx

I selected Eoraptor, because we need more figures of small Triassic dinosaurs, and as an ambiguous basal saurischian, Eoraptor is utterly fascinating. Also, Gallimimus, because they'd probably do a JP version, and no great option exists for that particular movie monster right now. Generally, the other taxa in the list have either already been done better by somebody else, or are not animals I really trust Papo not to screw up.

Most companeys are not willing to make simalar species.   no matter how diffent the sculpt or color may look.

Their  Ankylosaurus is pretty much Euoplocephaus.
