i have to get the remaining Carnegies still missing in my collection. your collection is one of the best/worthwhile in the forum and one of the threads i check out regularly (along with postsaurischian, robingoodfellow, libraraptor, Doug Watson, etc.)

Wow, I'm embarrasingly honoured to be included in such an illustrious company!  :)

So here's a picture of some of my crappy Chinasaurs to make you doubt whether I deserve to be...

Yes, that Pterosaur has a dick on his head.

sauroid

haha i have my own share of chinasaurs in my collection which i cherish!

That pterosaur would be in good company with the CollectA Tsintaosaurus.

I'd say it's already in good company with the Allosaurus in the back of that picture...

Anyway, enough smuttiness. Here's a nice herd of Triceratops to get things respectable again:

True!  ;D

Roselaar

A few more Carnegiesaurs. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say these are definitely the best figures of the line.

Agree, except on the Cryolophosaurus. The rest are all pretty good in my opinion.

Very nice figures indeed, I like the head of the Cryolophosaurus and it's sculpt but the pose could be better. It's still very nice.

The head sculpt is excellent. There is also a beautiful blending of colors that reveal underlying skin impressions and wrinkles. However, I find the pose off-putting.

Reptilia

Not a fan of Carnegie theropods' pose either. Certain ones, above all the Carnotaurus, have a great sculpt and would worth the trouble of trying to repose the tail and mount them on a base. And maybe have a repaint too. Too bad I don't know how to do that, otherwise I would happily give it a try. Don't like the Cryolophosaurus though, maybe cause I'm more fond of genetically modified monsters?  ::)

Roselaar

Agreed, Carnegie has never been very good at showing its theropods in appealing poses. But if you can look past the awkward tripod stances, they're still miles ahead of many of their competitors. At least back in the days...

Still, there's much worse figures around. The mutant Diplocodus is clearly yelling 'kill me, kill me!'.

Reptilia

Strange crossover between a crocodile and an ankylosaur you have there. And I think I had that stegosaur when I was a child.

´Ankylosuchus´doesn´t actually sound so bad...

Anyhoo, here´s a bunch of big ol´ TRexes.

CityRaptor

Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

Now that's, that's chaos theory. :)

And these are crappy Chinasaurs. Based on an older line I believe.

CityRaptor

Yep. Ever noticed how the really old toy dinosaurs never die?

Various figures. I got the Utahraptor for only 50 cts. Good deal methinks.
