Really nice collection! You've got some great furniture there for it as well.

Shonisaurus

You have the best collection of stegosauroids, especially many stegosaurus figures and the PNSO huanyangosaurus is a very decorative piece in that beautiful piece of furniture. I congratulate you not only for the figures but for the dinosaur fossil replicas. I'm glad for you.

It's the resin Favorite dilophosaurus if I'm not mistaken isn't it?

It's a Dinostoreus model. Got it from Dan's Dinosaurs

avatar_Mellow Stego @Mellow Stego Yes exactly I have one just like it and I bought it in the Store of the Museum of Natural Sciences of Madrid sixteen years ago until now I mistakenly thought that they belonged to the Favorite brand of resin and now I have realized that they belong to the Dinostoreus brand whose figures are very well finished. I also have the amargasaurus, brachiosaurus, triceratops, styracosaurus, ankylosaurus, carnotaurus, velociraptor, stegosaurus, iguanodon, parasaurolophus, pachycephalosaurus, and apatosaurus to my tremendous shame I always thought they belonged to the Favorite brand. Thanks for clarifying my doubts.  :-[

avatar_Shonisaurus @Shonisaurus  Yeah Dinostoreus models are pretty nice and starting to get hard to find in my experience.
Do you have any of the Dinostoreus fossil mounts?

Edit* So I was looking on Ebay and notice that some of these models are labeled the Favorite brand. So I believe you were right in thinking they were Favorites avatar_Shonisaurus @Shonisaurus.  So I wonder if one of them was a distributor?

avatar_Mellow Stego @Mellow Stego I do not have models of the fossil skeletons of Dinostoreus. I have those dinosaurs that I mentioned that I bought them in the Store of the Museum of Natural Sciences of Madrid, but I thought at first until you clarified that those models were from the Favorite brand, here is a link that can solve your doubts.

They are pretty cheap and cool models to be made of resin.

You're exactly right. The models were made by Kinto/Favorite and distributed by DinoStoreus.

It's a really nice Dilophosaurus, too. Fits right in to your elegant collection.

Got some new figures so I decided to rearrange again.

Not the best pick but I'm still in the middle of moving things around

Oh gosh, you have such an amazing collection! Not only the figures you have are great but the setup is utterly fantastic. I can't to see how everything falls into place once you're done moving stuff around. You don't have to but I would love to see a close up shot of the statues on the top shelf all the way to the right. They look like 2 dragons and a horse?

Thank you S @Subduction, I'll take some close pics of the statues and put them up after this post.

Well I'm done rearranging my dino/reading room.

Starting with the display wall...

Some footprint casted replicas.

Some pictures I found on the internet and turned them into metal prints

In the wood and glass cabinet was actually kinda hard to get good pics.
Top shelve is fossils

Second shelf

Third shelf marine animals[/img]

More to come later tonight after my kid goes to bed. Hard to do all this with 2 year old running around.

I'd love to know more about the wheeled, wooden T Rex(?) and sauropod under the cast footprints. Have you got closer photos of them?

Mellow Stego

avatar_Justin_ @Justin_  sure thing.
Don't know much about them cause I got them as a gift.
They work on a simple wooden gear(?) system were rolling them moves their head, mouth, legs ect..
Pretty cool though.

Looks very interesting, like a little museum. Those wooden toys are really interesting!

Shonisaurus

By the way, that monumental stegosaurid is a true marvel, I mean the big one on the second shelf, the one between the miragaia and the other two figures. I guess it will be resin. Nice collection, you have congratulations.

Great setup. Looks like a very restorative place to spend some time--when the young 'un is asleep. :)

Oh my god. I envy your setup! It really is like a little museum, with all the books and the diversity of items on display.
