I think the licensor has right of approval over WIP images of licensed product. I know that the people at Spiral Studios have mentioned having to get approval before posting WIP images of their Toho-licensed stuff. I would imagine Universal would have a similar clause in the license contract.

Just got my licensed spino from Sugo today. As a JP3 spino super fan, I love it! I thought the tongue color would be garish, but on hand it's not too bad. Still wish the tongue was a little less bright.









I wish the logo on the base was angled, not flat, so you can see it easily at eye-level instead of having to view it top down. It's very nicely done. Crisp and clean cuts.

As a bonus, Sugo sent me this funny sticker which reflects my love language. I accept love in cash 


Do I recommend it? Yes, but this is coming from a JP 3 spino super fan.
Is it expensive? Yes, objectively speaking, but worth it for a JP 3 spino super fan like me.
I'm happy to have a licensed CG version of the JP 3 spino.

Now I'm just waiting for the Nanmu Supplanter 2.0s and Prime 1's 1/38 spino. Hoping the latter would be the saving grace, if not the hidden ace, of their 1/38 line which has so far been disappointing.

Just darker lighting with a lot of shadows. One thing about this is that more than likely no one will ever make another statue based on the CG version. Which actually looks a bit more like a real spinosaur..maybe more Baryonyx like.

Yes I decided to buy the spino since nobody has done a CG figure before. I also ordered P1 so I have licensed figures of both CG and animatronic. 
The rexes I did not order anymore. I felt they were rather thin (though the CG rexes were thin) and small compared to spino but more expensive. I wish they re-release the mosa.

i had the same plan with it and the P1. just hope the P1 is decent.  Idk about the rexes..the female looks good from the side but shes super thin from above..not sure if thats cg or animatronic or what its based on.

Looks good there. I do wonder about the final product as WDragon still seems hit and miss like with the Jurassic line. If I hadn't already ordered the XPlus one I might have tried for this though.

I honestly have no idea if they have a history of making dragon figures. I was just making a joke about their name literally having the name dragon in it. No idea who asked for this figure - I don't even know what it is exactly, as it doesn't really look like a dragon anyway. Is that King Ghidorah from the Godzilla IP?

I wanted Nanmu to make it, maybe they will now that W-Dragon is on it, Nanmu has been watching what others do.

Why is it so...yellow? I don't recall Rexy's colors being that saturated. Wonder why they did that.
