I find it very difficult to use these data for a comparison between models of different manufacturers, because they all have their style and also target group (take for example PNSO and Mattel, these are different worlds). In addition, different companies have a different price range. But the data may be used to analyze the popularity of different models from one manufacturer. This can actually also be used to some benefit by the manufacturers. For example, the data seem to suggest that lipped theropods from PNSO have an edge over non-lipped ones, even accounting for the generally highly popular T-rex. Similarly, for Haolonggood the herbivores are much more popular than the theropods, with the exception of the Dilophosaurus and the Megaraptor.

Well, even that has a qualification, as only a miniscule percent of the membership actually ever votes.

I mostly voted for figures I had bought. I had to vote for a few I hadn't seen in person because I simply had not bought that many figures this year.

I only voted for what I had at time so I left off the HLG Alamo, just got it in last week. I just don't feel right voting for something I don't own.

Yeah that's how I feel. Looking back at what I voted for, the PNSO Spinosaurus was the only one I didn't own. So I guess I only bought nine toys this year.

@Concavenator sorry for the late response, but I don't agree with you that the same would apply to a lipped Tyrannotitan. The Saurophaganax isn't the only lipped theropod by PNSO and to be honest I don't like both the Yanchuanosaurus figures all that much. The same could apply to a lipped Charcarodontosaurid or Tyrannosaurid as well.

The fact that the Saurophaganax looks like a big Allosaurus definitely helps the appreciation I have for the figure, but the execution of this figure definitely makes it stand out the most for me compared to other figures PNSO has done last year.

 I would have loved to vote for the HAOLONGGOOD Alamosaurus as well, but it's a 2024 figure .
 I only vote for figures I do have (Don't judge a book by its cover!).

I definitely think this is an important point. I voted for the Saurophaganax too, but it wasn't the first box I ticked when choosing. It's entirely possible that Donald simply has the broadest appeal among voters, so it's winning by numbers even if not by priority.
If we were ranking our choices, I'd probably place Collecta's Koolasuchus as 1st; Donald would probably be around #5.
