I'll add more details, and get the op updated tomorrow, but here's an image dump of the new stuff I've been way behind on adding:

Spoiler

It might be extant, but it is a dinosaur:

Oh, wow, that is a lot. That metallic rex is an absolute eyesore lol.

I wasn't aware Takara Tomy was doing Crayon Shin-Chan merch, but it makes sense they'd get in on that.

You're kinda wrong cuz the entire line is an eyesore

Some repaints:

2 versions of megalodon with little divers
Archelon
Dunkleosteus
eurypterid with ammonite (the ammonite has been packaged with the mosasaur Archelon in previous releases)

avatar_Halichoeres @Halichoeres There was an ammonite packaged with the Mosasaurus in the Ania set, however it is a different sculpt from the one here.

In the previous Old Sea Gacha sets it was included with the Archelon. This set also marks the third repaint of the Archelon, ammonite, Dunkleosteus, and eurypterid.

I have the first two sets of them (which also incluced the Olenoides, Anomalocaris, and extant coelacanth Latimeria).

How is no one talking about those Baskin-Robbins dinos?

Ah, thanks for the correction, avatar_Faelrin @Faelrin! I'll correct my post. It didn't occur to me that Tomy would go to the trouble of making two different ammonite molds!

Impressive how they engineered the jaw articulation on the Megalodon. Especially considering the small size.

Now there's no real excuse for other companies not to do this style of articulation for their articulated shark figures.

Sorry for the wait everyone, but the op is finally updated with the new additions, etc. I also did some minor updates to the 2023 thread as well.

Edit: Just after I posted that, I see there is also a new white version of the Fukuiraptor available from the Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum (exclusive to it):

My source can buy three of the white Fukuiraptor from the museum. One is taken.

Please PM if interested.

Thanks.

Japanese review of the recent marine animal set (including a comparison of the Ania Otodus megalodon):

The customization with the top jaw (allowing for exposed gums for an attacking pose) is not something I've seen on any other shark figures before. Reminds me of the genius articulation on the PNSO Dunkleosteus. Fully agree with avatar_Flaffy @Flaffy on this front. Future figures really need to do something like this. Might have to pick one of these up in the future.

Kind of disappointed about the lack of paint on the re-released Archelon, etc though. The two prior releases had some gorgeous paintwork on them.

The Megalodon upper jaw articulation is very clever but now it has the unintended side effect of making me wish the Dunkleosteus' upper jaw could articulate as well.

avatar_crazy8wizard @crazy8wizard Having the former two versions in hand I have long felt the same. But well at least PNSO's is a thing (which I'm way behind on).

Saw a few new Ania figures. Internet here is super slow and we are like leaving today, so will need to add pics later. Anyways new Jurassic World Ceratosaurus, Scorpios rex, and T. rex explorer set. New regular Ania dinosaurs include Dilong and Pachycephalosaurus juvenile (or Dracorex).

If folks want to see them go here:

I'll try to update the op with them whenever I can.

avatar_Nyr0r0saurus @Nyrorosaurus See my prior post. I had those covered, but thanks for the adding the images here (though they are also now in the op too). Just didn't get to adding the images earlier since the net was terrible.

Anyways just finished updating the op, and then I see yet another Gacha set I need to add. I think that's everything though for now.

This Gacha set is all repaints and/or repacks. Nothing too exciting here.

-Tyrannosaurus (baby
-Tyrannosaurus (baby) (silver)
-Stegosaurus (baby)
-Rhamphorhynchus
-Triceratops (baby)
-Tylosaurus (baby)
-Pteranodon (baby)
-Carnotaurus (baby)
-Ankylosaurus (baby)
-Futabasaurus (baby)

Edit: Was just double checking to make sure I didn't miss any Gacha sets, and I guess I did (earlier in the year). Not really figures though, but still Jurassic merch that might interest some folks.
