Quote from: Berno on December 15, 2024, 02:28:07 AMHello everyone
I'm new here, does anyone knows if there are any rumors of Haolonggood planning to release some non-dinosaur models like pterosaurs or marine reptiles? some crocodyliform would be amazing!
Hi, welcome Berno!  Paleofiguras, which is a reliable source, has said Haolonggood will produce a Mosasaurus soon.  I hope they'll make something more unique such as Futabasaurus and Cymbospondylus at some point!
Thanks that's great news! a Mosasaurus is a big yes for me. Absolutely agree, a big ichthyosaur like Cymbospondylus or Shonisaurus would be great too. There are so many cool marine reptile species to pick like Simolestes, Trinacromerum, Thalattosuchus, etc., even an Archelon model would be awesome.

At some point PNSO made quite many marine reptiles but for some reason they stopped, with maybe the exception of the rumored new edition of their museum line Mosasaurus. I wonder why PNSO did not release any more marine reptiles, maybe the sales figures were not as good as for their dinosaur figures.

Received my Argentino today..she's not as big as some of my other statues and toys but she certainly has a presence. Probably the largest " figure" I own now.

Faelrin

Aside from the comparisons folks made with it alongside the Mattel Brachiosaurus, seeing that Carnegie mammoth in the same image as this new Argentinosaurus really show how much bigger this figure is. And to think I thought the Carnegie mammoth was a big figure when I first got it.

Same, I thought it was HUGE for a mammoth figure. Probably one the very few mammoths I like/own.  It takes about the torso area of the Argentino.  I saw the box and I swear if they could just get by with a detachable neck/tail they could fit anything in this box.

The Haolonggood Apatosaurus looks different from the standard brown version. Is this a repaint or designer edition?

No it's the standard. Could be the lighting? Or they changed colors slightly since release? I bought it on preorder.

The purple limited paint scheme is so gorgeous. I almost ordered the dark green one that also looks fantastic but so happy I too went for the purple one in the end.

Wow! Would you say she is the heaviest figure do you have? Or probably some bronze statues weigh more?

It's a hard designation; these land somewhere between a statue and a toy so I went with "figure".  I think in terms of figures it's the heaviest. I have some toys that might come close and certainly the statues I have far outweigh it. My Prime 1 JW Mosasaurus is a back killer. Something close might be the large Creative Beast Tyrannosaurus Rex? That's a big chunk of plastic/rubber.

I don't see much "purple" on this despite the designation lol but I don't care, the colors and patterns work great.

I'm still not sure what I'll do with the prints or the playing cards I have no wall space and I don't play cards lol

I don't know what I'll do with the prints, but the cards will come in handy here. My Bigfoot cards are pretty well wore out here and the dinosaur cards will take their place. Hearts, Rummy and the occasional Poker game.

;D Don't worry, the exhibition will also announce some of next year's new products soon. We are currently optimizing and upgrading our production line. In the future, we will strive to further optimize our price range so that everyone can easily purchase new products. Yes, many things need to be done, and we need to work harder to make the product better.

Styracosaurus now released. Paleofiguras posted several images. I copy just a few below. Surprisingly both seem to be brown-gray.

ceratopsian

Surprisingly similar coloration and very sober.  I think they would display nicely as a pair though - the brighter jade frill might suggest sexual dimorphism/display.
