What Kronosaurs do you prefer over the Papo version----the PNSO version?

Both PNSO and Safari.
In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

I recently got the Kronosaurus and I really like it. It also takes up less space on the shelf than the CollectA Deluxe.

Exciting news!! Everything Dinosaur just posted a video on their Instagram showing the Suchomimus and Corythosaurus at Toy Fair 2025 and said they will be getting them in stock in about 2-3 weeks! Looks like the wait will finally be over. Cannot wait to see the new Sucho.

Atokensis

Can't wait for the Suchomimus!

Quiversaurus

Thanks for the heads up avatar_Joliezac @Joliezac .

It's a very cursory look, but I'm liking how big this Sucho looks. Seems to be a similar length to the PNSO one, if not larger? Based on the thumb.

The skin patterns / paint job look promising too. Absolutely cannot wait!

Pliosaurking

I am very happy to hear this news! I'll definitely be grabbing one when it comes into stock

This looks really good. However I already have PNSO's superlative one and since this genus is of secondary interest to me, I may or may not get the Papo. I'll wait for more and better close-ups before deciding one way or the other. The new upcoming rex, though more than a bit speculative, looks like a sure acquisition for me. I'll have to be rather patient in waiting though, I'm sure.

Looks good, I'll have to keep an eye out on who gets it in.

I hope we will have a release date for sucho!
Between the time when the oceans drank Atlantis and the rise of the sons of Aryas, there was an age undreamed of. And unto this, Conan, destined to wear the jeweled crown of Aquilonia upon a troubled brow. It is I, his chronicler, who alone can tell thee of his saga. Let me tell you of the days of high adventure!

Papo has somehow managed to make the Yangchuanosaurus look like the JP T. rex. And the Edmontosaurus is missing its rhamphotheca. Suchomimus is looking excellent though. And frankly, they're all lightyears ahead of what Papo has given us the last several years.

Sim

I've looked at better quality photos of the figures in the Paleofiguras group and they all look great to me.  The Yangchuanosaurus has lips, something that Papo's other allosauroids lacked!  I don't want to replace my PNSO Yangchuanosaurus with Papo's but at the same time I'm finding myself wanting Papo's too!  But recently I've been settling on having no more than one figure per species.  I don't know what I'll do...  I would love a Torvosaurus and Herrerasaurus from Papo..  Things I don't have a figure of already.

The Yangchuanosaurus doesn't look as good as the initial pic. The skull looks rather elongate for the genus.

All three are still lightyears ahead of Papo's Schleich-tier sculpts from the past few years.

Is it just me or does it have a 'Jurassic Park T. rex-like' look to its face, bells and whistles not withstanding?

I am sure I'll still get it; as you said these are marked improvements.

Sim

I don't see a resemblance to the Jurassic Park Tyrannosaurus..  Especially since one has lips and the other doesn't.

It's probably a combination of the following:
- Sharp yellow eyes
- Sunken in orbits
- Protruding brows
- Tiny (arguably undersized) lateral temporal fenestra

It's not just you, I made the same remark further up in the thread.

Carnoking

Man, these are looking great. It's good to have you back, Papo!

It's a "Stanwinstonized" Yangchuanosaurus, which is what I personally expect (and want) from Papo. The same can be said about Suchomimus, which is not as accurate as PNSO's ,but nonetheless very impressive for other reasons.
