Hello all! I recently rediscovered my love of dinosaurs after far too many years. I used to collect the "Carnegie Collection" figures with my father when I was very young for about a decade. So many other toy companies have come into existence since then, and have released lots of dinosaurs I've never even heard of before!

I've recently picked up a single PNSO figure and four Beasts of the Mesozoic ones, they're all very neat! I hope to slowly add more to my new collection over time, as while there are many to choose from they're expensive (oof, my wallet!).

A question though on how to navigate these forums: I noticed there's multiple "New for X 2025" etc threads, but none for anything by Creative Beast Studio. I didn't want to make a new one in case I wasn't allowed to, but they just snuck in a prototype in a new video posted today and I wanted to see if anyone else was talking about it...but didn't know where to go :( Would a mod be able to maybe make a dedicated spot for BotM/BotC? I saw a few different ones but they're all scattered around, I didn't know where to post. Thank you!

Welcome to the board! I'll try to answer your question.

Creative Beast Studios [so far, anyway] has released his series through crowdfunding projects, and such projects tend to span over a year (sometimes over two), and he doesn't necessarily release new figures in a calendar year like larger companies. There are threads for his various projects, such the Ceratopsian series, the Tyrannosaur series, and his current one, Beasts of the Cyberzoic.

That's true, I know he posts rough estimations on when product will be available for preorder/being shipped but nothing sounds like it's set in stone.

There were so many different threads (BotM, BotC, Kickstarter, etc) I didn't know where to post what I saw (Pachy prototype!). I just didn't want to end up in the wrong place and upset people haha

Hello ARGDino and welcome to the forum!
Yeah, we do have a wide variety of topics and threads here, many of them dealing with new releases from different companies. It's not always easy to keep track of things, but with a little patience you will get your way into it.
Nice to have you here!

Don't be afraid to set up a new thread if you think it deserves it. Worse case scenario, a moderator can simply merge the topic with an existing one if that's deemed more appropriate. So, don't fret, just go for it. :)

Welcome by the way!

Welcome A @ARGDino!  You will see quite a change in what's available now!  I rather envy you your Carnegie past. Despite being keen on dinosaurs since early school days, I didn't realise that model collecting was a possibility till I was in my later 50s!  I started by tracking down Carnegies.

I struggle with knowing which Creative Beast thread to post in when the animals aren't part of one of the campaigns, so a new thread sounds good to me. But I am also new.
