Here it is, GojiCenter's video comparing Rexy from Jurassic World vs Sue the Real, based on Eofauna's figure:

https://youtu.be/FnOiHWNBajQ?si=A8N-N9DUdEOcPhJx

Me, I had a big grin on my face at the end.😁 This was a thorough scientific analysis and the right conclusion was definitely reached.

A few things I particularly liked in the battle:

Spoiler

1. Upon encountering one another, Rexy roars like the dickens, whereas Sue is unintimidated and keeps on approaching. And when Sue does make noise, it's a long, low bellow like an alligator. Frankly, it sounded way more menacing as well as realistic.

2. After Rexy loses an arm and still tries to continue to fight instead of retreating, Sue appears to have a puzzle expression. "What the hell are you doing? Just walk away before I really mess you up!"

3. Sue eats up Rexy's tail at the very end.

That's a very apt description. "Over-actor" might be even better.

The only thing I like about JP/JW prehistoric animals is when I see them being directly compared to scientifically accurate depictions of the same taxa, simply to emphasise how wrong the former are.

What is wrong with the guy who does that voice-over?  :o Anyway, very entertaining, if just for "Sue" herself  8)

This makes for a pretty great and thorough rebuttal to the "science ruined dinosaurs" crowd; no, my dear fanboys, science has actually made your favorite dinosaurs even cooler.
The JP T-Rex was a great (albeit stylized) rendition of the animal for its time, but our understanding has changed so much since then it's fascinating to see the contrast.

I have to say as well: it was just so damned wonderful to see one of my very favourite toys come to life on screen like that.

Finally got around to watching this. The voiceover made it a chore to watch and difficult to enjoy but it was cool seeing the Eofauna Sue come to life.
