Turkeysaurus

Hatzegopteryx would be too good to be true. (Take notes PNSO!)

1:25 scale Einosaurus sounds realistic.

1:30 / 1:35  ;)

It looks like there won't be a new PNSO prehistoric animal figure for this month, with that slot taken up by their modern animal figure.  I guess now it can't be predicted if a month's new PNSO figure will be prehistoric or extant.  But it makes me even more confident that PNSO isn't going to remake species more often than they have up till now.  And I think remakes will probably be less often now than previously.

Fingers crossed as always for that new Tyrannosaurus rex. As we already discussed, June or July would be a perfect time to release it.

On the other hand, maybe it'll be a Christmas release. Ending the year on a high note.

Just as long as its this year! My collection feels so empty without a lipped PNSO Tyrannosaurus!

Mine too... and I already have one!!! To be fair... I have a need for all the T.rex there are.

On that note, I would really love it if PNSO bucked their own trend and made the lipped T. rex green. Or red or blue or black or whatever, but just not brown again. There's been enough brown ones.

I don't care if PNSO releases a lipped T. rex. I'm happy with Eofauna's and actually like Recur's a lot too. If it's priced as high as Cameron then that's a definite dealbreaker.

For the sake of all the people who are yearning for the putative lipped PNSO rex, I hope that it comes sooner rather than later, but as far as it concerns me alone, I'm good one way or another, simply because I realized that a lipped PNSO is important to me, so I gathered up my nickles and dimes, bit the bullet, and ordered a lipped Cameron to go along with my regular one.

Now I'm very, very aware that it's not an inexpensive step, but for me it was well worth sacrificing several month's worth of dino purchases for one, since I'm an ardent rexophile. Not everyone is willing or even able to take this step, of course, but then again, a PNSO rex in itself is not cheap.
If one adds up what one might pay out over 3-6 months worth of purchases, as a regular visitor to the well of dino shopping, it's a do-able step, and immensely pleasing in its outcome. To my way of thinking, and it's a subjective decision to be sure, it was better than waiting and waiting and waiting for PNSO to pull the trigger. I find it liberating to be active rather than passive in this regard, if at all possible financially. That said, tyrannosaurids are the only dinosaurs for which I would and have taken this step.

I do love seeing everyone's lipped Camerons but the collector in me always balks at the notion of having any of my figures modified

I would never have it done either. Nothing against those who take that option, but it just doesn't feel right for me.

You made me realize i don't have the collector's soul. I'd customized my entire collection in a heart beat :D

I think Recur's new T.rex is the best bang-for-your-buck release thus far this year...

I don't think there's any right or wrong decision when it comes to having one's toys customized. If you want it done and you can afford it, go for it. If that's not your cup of tea, then so be it.

I repaint things, heavy customization in my opinion is mostly unnecessary as, if you wait long enough, what you want is made eventually. Though I'm still waiting on a nicer Nothosaurus of a decent size. ;)

I still await a decent Diplocaulus. But we got a Koolasuchus of all things.

Same, but the Koolasuchus made sense thanks to WWD.

Don't forget about the one that ate Aladar in Disney's Dinosaur!

I mean, it was when he was still in the egg, but still... watch the first five minutes of it.
