I couldn't find a plugin but was able to manually code a sort dropdown, which I've added to the top of the homepage and category pages. I gave it four options: Date asc., Date desc., A-Z, and Z-A. Please could you all test it out with some categories and tags and report back with any snags or problems? If it works then I'll make it look a bit neater and make it permanent. The top of the page seems to be the best place for it?

It's under the main menu (and under the first ad, if you see an ad), before the first post title. It's only on the main page and archives, i.e. content that can be sorted. I can screenshot it if you still can't find it.

I could add other sort options to the dropdown. Sort by random, sort by most commented, sort by author. If there's any demand for it.

The Randomiser is fun. And the Most Commented is interesting: the top 3 most commented reviews are all T. rex.

That's more complicated because the ratings feature isn't built into the software as default, its a separate plugin. But I'm sure there is a way.

Not entirely sure what this entails. There already is an alphabetical option (under 'Contents').

Not entirely sure what this entails. There already is an alphabetical option (under 'Contents').

Try it on the DinoToyBlog and you'll see. Contents is just an alphabetically ordered list of everything, whereas the sort works with filtered results, and you can choose how you want it sorted.
