That looks awesome, now, if only they put that effort into anatomically correct models... lol

Blade-of-the-Moon

It's very awesome and very tempting if it comes out that good. I'm also very concerned the material will again be like the Apatosaurus.  If HLG can do accurate sauropods that don't break out of plastic/rubber than DD should be able to do the same.

That long, thin tail concerns me. I'd imagine at the very least that would have to be cast in some sort of pliable material

It could be the same material as HLG uses for their sauropods? It's a bit flexible. You can insert a wire inside to make it more sturdy too. Honestly I'd be ok if they shortened it. If the Mattel had one that size it would be two feet longer.

I'm really excited about this one, Titanosaurus is my favorite new design of Rebirth
But I will wait the movie to order, if I'm gonna expend 450 on a statue it needs to be 100% accurate

Have we heard a price yet? I think depending on material this could be more expensive.

That's surprising and warung is usually pretty pricey compared.

Mosasaurus and Spinosaurus

Blade-of-the-Moon

I'm waiting to hear how they will do these, what material ect.. I dislike preordering anything based on concept art. Knowing DD these won't be out til December or next year.

Halichoeres

At $450 there's no way. I'm sure someone will make a more affordable option.

Likewise. That's way more than I'm willing to pay no matter how much I like the design and the figure. That's part if the reason I shied away from Argentinosaurus for so many years.

Blade-of-the-Moon

It's a nice JW Triceratops. But I never much cared for it's design over the original.

Me too, but what I really liked is that it's exactly like the prototype and that made me excited for JW Rebirth releases

oh, and Titanosaurus is made of resin

I anticipate a lot of refunds from the tail breaking if that's the case.

Doing the down payment now and the installment all the way in October would soften the blow a little bit for me, just enough for me to toy with the idea. That being said, I shudder to think what the shipping cost for something so massive would be, and I am very nervous about that tail showing up in one piece.

Having to play catch up with new releases and other pre-orders certainly isn't helping the case. I suppose if I see the movie and just fall in love with the Titanosaurs I would be willing to push some stuff to the back burner.

Blade-of-the-Moon

Lana has the apatosaurus listed as resin too but then I read it's really mixed media. Resin body, silicone tail and neck.
