For those who like to have all models in same scale, reading previous comments it seems like this model can be considered as 1:35 Huanghetitan liujiaxiaensis.

So is mine but that never stops me.

That PNSO Blue Whale is such an ambition of mine!

Yeah that PNSO blue whale is heavy and that is a huge fear of mine. I used these spring loaded anchors in the ceiling so it isn't just screws. I am comfortable that it won't fall.
Just because I have a short attention span doesn't mean

The Blue Whale was absurdly expensive. I ended up caving in because I wanted a display that showed the fact that despite dinosaurs being huge, the blue whale is still the largest known animal ever. It's a tad oversized for 1/35 scale but I think it conveys the right idea. I replaced the PNSO Megalodon with the W-Dragon because I think it scales better here.

It's like £500 isn't it? Even more expensive than the Haolonggood Argentinosaurus!

Tbh, figures like that, you have to take the plunge and buy them. They're so unique and fantastic.

The blue whale is heavy? I keep talking myself out of it but I thought it was hollow vinyl ?

I have the Kaiyodo blue whale. It's not as big as PNSO's but it's great for 1/35 scale. I think I was able to get it for $250. That PNSO is stellar though!

I am searching for a Kaiyodo Blue Whale as well. I like the coloration better than the PNSO version. Where did you find yours? I have been scouring Ebay for months but so far it's been impossible to track down at a decent price.

I agree, I liked the coloration and graceful pose of the Kaiyodo more. I bought mine about 2-3 years ago directly from avatar_brettnj @brettnj I'm not sure if this figure is still in production or not but he's your best bet to get the best price! eBay prices are outrageous for this figure  :-[

You were able to find it off eBay?!

J @Joel1905

I paid $600 U.S dollars for it - plus
$30-50 for shipping, I forgot exactly how much. It's a lot but I have no regrets for any of my models thus far. I am in a good position in life right now - I love my job and feel secure. I also just turned 40 so instead of buying a corvette for my mid life crisis I bought a giant expensive whale to hang over my giant expensive dinosaurs 😂

It feels much more solid than the PNSO Megalodon or any of their other hollow figures. It isn't absurdly heavy though. Mine is hanging from four strands of fishing line if that helps.

Nothing wrong with that! lol  Plus look how many models we can get for the price of a corvette!  ::D

For anyone else interested, I believe we've gotten them for our buyers at less than half that price every time.

I just asked my source for the best current option.

Here's the elephant (I happened to notice it in this morning's searches.)...

Will update just as an FYI.

Thanks.

Quote from: Joliezac on July 09, 2025, 05:27:57 AMI can't seem to see any PNSO on sale, is there a coupon code or something for this?

Yes, it's a coupon, you have to click on "clip coupon" (amazon usually does this automatically) and you will see the discount at checkout.

Amazing setup. Do you mind if I ask which Megalodon figure that is?
