Futabasaurus
Triceratops
Tyrannosaurus
Nice for any fossil amateur, especially the Futabasaurus !
Apparently, each figure comes into 2 color versions and should be released the third week in August.
The price has been removed, but it'll cost 500 yens/piece.

However, I wish there were more choices in "less famous" dinosaurs.

My perennial wish, less famous animals. The Archelon would be nice if the rest are ever released.

Here's the video...
https://tieba.baidu.com/p/7720828691
It starts showing these at around 1:44:06 and again at 1:52:40. There's the three released and the archelon and a sauropod.

Extant sidenote...

So many people were so incredibly excited about the Yangtze set but most have lost hope.

But the Australian, whale, and shark sets released, and now these (even if not all five shown in the video).

So I believe there's reason to believe they will release at some point.

Actually, I'm wondering.
Why Japanese companies often offer series of dinosaurs including only 1 uncommon species among ultra famous mediatized dinos ?
Is it a marketing strategy ?
If so, I don't clearly see the point except a limited risk taking ?...

Maybe because they know there are suckers like me who will say "Oh, I don't have a ________ yet!"

avatar_Halichoeres @Halichoeres lol, this is maybe a side effect of mustard !
But joke aside, even if it could sound a bit far-fetched, I would be keen on understanding the logic of the Japanese companies' approach when they create a new collection/line. For example :

Ikimon Nature Technicolor Skeletons :
*Futabasaurus
*Triceratops
*Tyrannosaurus

Bandai Gashapon Kyōryū 03 :
*Allosaurus
*Stegosaurus
*Pteranodon
*Citipati

Kaiyodo JP3 Dinosaur Mini Figures includes 2 versions of Velociraptor (male + female ::) ) as well as 2 versions of Pteranodon (standard size + giant ???? ) but doesn't include Corythosaurus, Ankylosaurus nor Ceratosaurus ? ^^

Kaiyodo UHA Collect Club includes a Platybelodon among dinosaurs of the Gobi Desert or of Asia :o

somewhat amusing that the disgusting failed clone monster is the only one of these that really looks good in this style. I bet you could put it in a jar with some colored liquid as a D. rex embryo vial or something.

Currently available in pre-order on Takara Tomy's website, the ANIA AL series Giganotosaurus & Allosaurus (expected release in August) :

I can think of some good pranks with it.

Thanks for the info, avatar_Protopatch @Protopatch! Takara Tomy's product numbering system is mysterious to me.

Reminds me that I need to update the Takara Tomy thread. Maybe later tonight.

Hmm... Original though.
Are these feathers or scales on the Tyranno's face ?^^

Halichoeres

Perhaps shingles? But seriously, to my eye they look more like scales.
