Omg i think this might be the best lokiceratops ive ever seen !

Gwangi

Fantastic! I am absolutely in love with that Lokiceratops. The more Frontier deviates away from the Jurassic World aesthetic the better it gets. I know a lot of species from 2 aren't going to be in 3, I hope weaker designs like the Deinonychus get the ax and are replaced in a later DLC.

Faelrin

Modders need to give us the PNSO skin (and with the unique morphology). That said, I do adore what I see here. The babies are precious too.

I added it to the list. I still need to watch that Frontier gameplay vid to see if I've missed anything else.

My issue with this game serie, is that it has felt incomplete and too simple for a management game.
And each time I want to buy the full title with all dlc content, they announce the sequel  :*D
There is no point playing the previous ones in my opinion.
So so far I haven't had the occasion to buy any JWE game, I am waiting for the ultimate version, but I don't even know if I'll buy the 3rd one, will they make a 4th, and a 5th ?
They need to finally make a good game out of it and stop milking the serie.

Tropeognathus is confirmed to be returning, plus here's more footage of the breeding feature, and Lokiceratops:

Edit: I did a massive update on my species roster here:

Looks like the Utahraptor is coming back! With babies. Unfortunately, the babies have adult plumage, fluffy down would have been preferable. They're still cute though.

Prehistory Resurrection

Feature Focus: Family Units. Also, another new dinosaur revealed; Patagotitan.

Faelrin

The Patagotitan is easily their best sauropod yet. Even has correct hand digits (no claws).

It's amazing seeing the Quetzalcoatlus finally able to walk now. The baby Ankylosaurus is cute too, but I really hope it has skins for Bumpy and Smoothie.

Prehistory Resurrection

Faelrin

Dreadnoughtus (Dominion version) can be seen in the back of the shot with the Ankylosaurus.

Also man are these guys super cute. So glad to have them officially in the game now. While I adored the mod version of them in JWE 1 and 2, it's great to have them in the third game at launch, and for all players, not just for those of us on PC.

Pachyrhinosaurus

I think it would have been more interesting if it had a variant based on the psittacosaurus animatronics from the rides. I know it isn't really canon to the films, but a more refined version of them would fit in a lot better with the Jurassic Park aesthetic. Come to think of it, it would be neat to see ultrasauros and some other ride or theme park variants. I'd definitely buy toys of them, too.

Compsognathus confirmed (and can breed), and hybrids soft confirmed. I mean they already confirmed there would be 7 species that couldn't breed on the Steam store page (if not elsewhere), and now they directly confirm it is the hybrids, in addition to all the other species being brought to the game will be able to breed. I have mixed feelings about this. On one hand they very much take away from real species getting into the game. On the other hand, they aren't getting sold into a DLC pack again, and should be base game content (something that should have been done at the start of JWE2).

I guess this also soft confirms Diplodocus and Sinoceratops as well.

That said most of the article is about the new adorable Psittacosaurus. And today I learned that there's a fossil with a bunch of babies alongside an older one. I might have heard about it before, but I forgot. Kind of tragic to think about the situation that led to them being fossilized, but they're all long gone anyways. And despite it all, they are very important to helping our understanding of them, and what they would have been like in life.

Next we will have news in the gamescom! The game will be present in the event, maybe some lucky fellas will have the opportunity to play it
Between the time when the oceans drank Atlantis and the rise of the sons of Aryas, there was an age undreamed of. And unto this, Conan, destined to wear the jeweled crown of Aquilonia upon a troubled brow. It is I, his chronicler, who alone can tell thee of his saga. Let me tell you of the days of high adventure!

Prehistory Resurrection

Patagotitan showcase. The speculative beak is interesting... The overall scientifically accurate design is a fresh contrast to the Rebirth Titanosaurus.

Quite the drop recently. Where to start? Well first is the classic JPOG fan favorite Balloon Tour new to JWE3! It has both JP and JW skins for it. Also might be Yutyrannus seen in the far left bottom corner around the 1:25 mark? Not certain, but a clip posted to the subreddit gives a better look at it then what my old laptop can reveal.

On the other hand we get a look at the marketplace feature, similar to Planet Zoo's and the JWE2 Malta DLC blackmarket feature.

Also a boatload of species returning. Apatosaurus, Archaeornithomimus, Chungkingosaurus, Dimorphodon, Diplodocus, Giganotosaurus, Lystrosaurus, Microceratus, Moros intrepidus, Nasutoceratops, Troodon. Dimorphodon, Diplodocus and Troodon are easy to see, but the rest are sort of hidden behind the UI shown at 2:17. In fact thanks to my awful laptop, the highest I can render the video at in full screen is 720p, and only Apatosaurus, Archaornithomimus, Moros intrepidus, and Nasutoceratops are visible, but thanks to a reddit post, one can also see (by looking hard enough on the left side) that Chungkingosaurus, Giganotosaurus, Lystrosaurus are also present. Most are movie species, but I'm really disappointed Archaeornithomimus is back in, likely with the same old awful design, and cuts away from something more interesting due to how cut down the roster is (and with some new additions). Diplodocus was previously expected to be in, if the hybrids are all returning (and now that I think about it, Giganotosaurus probably would have been too for the Indominus, aside from being in Dominion). And no surprises that more of the film species are returning. It boggles my mind we haven't seen a single new marine animal though, other then the Mosasaurus. Frontier come on now. There's also a theropod statue at 0:28, not sure what it is though, Allosaurus perhaps? Also during the Quetzalcoatlus part, the seller name is an easter egg in reference to Chaos Theory.

I'll be updating my species list.

Edit: Species list is now updated. Let me know if I'm missing anything.

I would have been happy if Archaeornithomimus and the scaly Troodon were dropped from the game. What is and isn't included continues to be a concern of mine. Hopefully Deinonychus doesn't make the cut.

Faelrin

We're eating good here it seems (well mostly). Now they've revealed the Cretaceous Cruise coming to the game. Folks have been asking for a river tour thing of sorts for ages now so this is great to see, alongside the balloon tour, and the petting zoo thing (also shown off in the video). We also get our first look at the new juvenile Parasaurolophus, with short crests much like the one fossil specimen. A bit more on the modular building system as well.
