I'm glad the Safari Utahraptor made it into the top 10.  It's an underrated figure, mine has given me great joy!  It's much better in person and the happiness I've felt from it I only also felt from Haolonggood's Baryonyx out of the 2023 figures.  Speaking of Haolonggood's Baryonyx, that's another underrated figure in my opinion.  I'm surprised it only got 2 votes!  I guess people have had enough of Baryonyx...

Today I finally received the Saurophaganax. I really like this figure, it's much better than most of the smaller Tyrannosaurids PNSO released in 2023. However I do have some small issues with the figure which maybe are more apparent because I had high expectations for it.

First of all, the overall coloration is very, very drab. In that regard I actually prefer the older Allosaurus model and the Carcharodontosaurus. The head sculpt is simply gorgeous and blows that of the similarly sized Albertosaurus out of the water. However, the right eye on mine looks a bit wonky compared to the ones I've seen in reviews. Also the teeth are painted quite sloppy, the pink color of the inside of the inside of the mouth runs into the teeth. Also the articulation is very stiff, so opening the mouth isn't easy. And in the mouth remains a small gap when closed.

Maybe I'm nitpicking and I'm still very happy with the figure. It's comfortably in my top 10 of last year. But I expected it to even reach my personal top 3 and that's not the case.
