i started a general Kaiju discussion thread if anyone's interested.
i'd like to start off by mentioning that i've recently watched an old Kaiju movie called "Reptilian" (a remake of a 1960s Korean Kaiju movie called Yonggary). it was crudely made (and cheesy) compared to recent giant monster movies but it strongly influenced Pacific Rim. you gotta watch it for its historical value.
"you know you have a lot of prehistoric figures if you have at least twenty items per page of the prehistoric/dinosaur section on ebay." - anon.

I thought about starting a thread for a specific movie but it'll fit in here with this thread. Anyone else seen "The Legend of Dinosaurs and Monster Birds"? A very bizzare kaiju film (with a funky soundtrack) that actually does not have any dinosaurs or monster birds, rather a plesiosaurus and pterosaur. A must see for kaiju, B movie or dinosaur movie fans but keep in mind, it is seriously cheesy.

It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent that survives. It is the one that is the most adaptable to change.

Will I get in trouble if I ask if anyone watched Pulgasari ?    The Film that was made thanks to North Koreas former dictator  Kim Jong-il  who kidnapped a Director and his wife, and forced them to make it?
