it's a privilege to have distinguished creators of our figures as members of our forum...
"you know you have a lot of prehistoric figures if you have at least twenty items per page of the prehistoric/dinosaur section on ebay." - anon.

Indeed!

Regarding Age: I'm not sure about the rest of Europe, but Dinosaurs are mainly treated as something for kids here in Germany. Atleast in the last 10 years or so...
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

Haven't read this thread since now.  :-X
That thing about Rebor is very true.I think Rebor visits our forum regularly, but never posts, only for advertising as I think Gwangi said.Doug Watson and Dan LoRusso are members here, and they're good members. They don't create threads about their sculpts and tell them how good they are. They contribute to the topics.Dan LoRusso was criticised for his Nanshiungosaurus and Gigantoraptor sculpts in summer, but he at least gave us a good explanation. If you analise Rebor's reply about their Yutyrannus being scaly was,not pasted, but I can, more or less, recall what they said 'We won't give our Yutyrannus more feathers because we wanted to relate it to the Tyrannosauridae family'.They came to say that tyranosaurus were scaly, hence they don't give an animal which was completely feathered more feathers. It's a completely stupid argument! (My apologies for this expression). Also,if I don't like something I'll say it,although I'll say it in a peaceful way .

Dan and Doug do their own speaking....they do not have ten different identities sneaking around under various James Bond names snarking it up about their models. I know both men well enough that if they want to say something, they will, and are quite capable of doing so themselves, come what may. I have grown quite .....annoyed with the rotating cast of first time, everytime posters, that are running to that thread and doing damage control. It is....counter productive at this point.
Authors with varying competence have suggested dinosaurs disappeared because of meteorites...God's will, raids by little green hunters in flying saucers, lack of standing room in Noah's Ark, and palaeoweltschmerz—Glenn Jepsen
