David Silva just released a series of images of the Styracosaurus he sculpted for Hasbro that they never released. Looks very impressive!

That's a shame that it'll never see the light of day.

Looks good, and it is really nice to have a better look at that sculpt after all these years. Shame it wasn't released (same with the Stegosaurus and Carnotaurus), but at least he's doing a new one for his BotM line. No doubt it'll blow this one away like the new Pachyrhinosaurus did, but it is still an important part of JP history, as this technically was supposed to be the first JP Styracosaurus toy, until it was canceled or whatever happened (at least Mattel is helping to fill the void).

I suppose if it is a styracosaurus by David Silva that never came to light it may be marketed in Beasts of the Mesozoic. The said thing is a lastica that this figure of JP is not commercialized nowadays I would buy it because its prototype is very good and very detailed.

Very likely but it will also be tweaked with improved accuracy since the model is no longer designed to meet Hasbro's requirements.

If only... That would have been one of the best JP figures ever.

Halichoeres

Bit of a pity it was never released, but the one that will be made for the BotM series will be better anyway.

Wow, I never knew there was an unreleased prototype of a JP Styracosaurus toy sculpted by him.

It would have made a great companion to his JP Pachyrhinosaurus. That is one of the few Hasbro figures that integrates very well with the new generation of toys. The final hurrah of the original "dino damage" feature with removable skin!
