I figured a second post would be better for this.

As far as Night Fury, Deadly Nadder, Monstrous Nightmare, Gronkle, and Zippleback figures go, I plan on getting the figures from the first movie, as they are far more superior to anything Spinmaster is putting out now. So I'm not even bothering to get the figures of those species that are out now.

Where are you planinng to get those figures from? Becouse on Ebay and Amazon they go for some crazy prices.

I don't know if I'd say theyre expensive, I mean $30-40 is about what each would cost. But I often see those original figures for less on eBay. Just check lots.

Can the screaming death still open and close it's mouth? If yes, does it stay open? or is there a spring that closes it.
And where can the 2019 Whispering death be found?

You can find them on Ebay for decent prices occasionally.

Yes, but you have to open it manually. And no, the mouth doesn't stay open.

I seen the Whispering Death like once earlier in the year at a Walmart, and I regret not picking it up. I had no idea it would be this rare. I never once saw the Razorwhip in stores either. I'm kind of worried the same will happen with the Crimson Goregutter.

For the Screaming Death, the mouth can open by grabbing the bottom jaw, but it doesn't stay open. The tail also has a bendy wire in it.

And dang I had a look at the 2010 offerings on ebay, and some of those look really accurate in sculpt and paint scheme (except Meatlug/Gronckle is green?).

They rereleased those original figures in slightly more accurate color schemes for race to the edge.

They look good for sure. Hunting them down would probably be tough and costly though.

The originals aren't too hard to find, and can be found for anywhere between $20 to $50 new in box for the main dragons. The only figured that command high prices are the exclusives like the red death and bone keeper dragon and some of the humans like Astrid or Tuffnut

AcroSauroTaurus

Well, I got the original Boneknapper over the weekend.(only missing a bone from the back, but otherwise complete.)
