avatar_Faelrin @Faelrin Is there a reason that Barf and Belch are in that circular pose?

They're a retool of this Zippleback toy: (which was based on a particular battle scene during How to Train your Dragon 2)

Loon

avatar_Faelrin @Faelrin ah ok, it's so weird how the aesthetic completely changed from that line.

Figured I'd post these here. These are my Playmobil dragons and a pop night light. I'm getting a few more in a week or so, I'll post them here when I do.

I'm wondering if we could just make this thread into a general How to Train your Dragon thread?

Faelrin

The Playmobil stuff is very nice (especially the paint apps). And well that explains the circular pose of Barf and Belch at least.

Cretaceous Crab

Anyone know if they're going to make a toy figure of the Crimson Goregutter? I think that is my new favorite dragon from the series.

Loon

avatar_Cretaceous Crab @LeviRawl I don't know, I feel like there isn't anymore spinmaster stuff down the road. I would guess Playmobil if they continue past the Hidden World wave could, but I'm still waiting on a Cloudjumper and Valka from them.

Have Meatlug or the Light Fury ever been spotted in stores? I've had no luck catching them on Amazon.

The Playmobil ones? I've seen both at local TRU. I've also seen several Spinmaster lightfury's if that's what you mean.

Loon

avatar_stargatedalek @stargatedalek the spin master ones, the ones without riders.

This one?

I've seen it at TRU for sure but perhaps Walmart also. If you'd like me to grab you one PM me, I'll be in that area tomorrow.

Loon

avatar_stargatedalek @stargatedalek Yeah, that's the one. Did they have meatlug too? I would go through Amazon, but they always change the date for they'll be restocked.

Haven't seen Meatlug yet sorry.

Loon

Spotted this "Deadly Nadder" on eBay. Looks like a darker version of Stormfly's colors.

Looks like this might be a new wave, featuring the rare Meatlug and Light Fury. Also, a reissue of the Screaming Death, which would be helpful, since those go for a lot online.

Are they going to re-release the Screaming Death? If the back of that box is anything to go by, then they are.

avatar_AcroSauroTaurus @AcroSauroTaurus I would hope so, hopefully if the hidden world line continues, we get some more old rare dragons.

Faelrin

I still need a Meatlug for my collection, and she is the last of the main character dragons I don't have yet (although I technically don't have the basic Hookfang and Stormfly from this assortment, but they are common enough for me to get around to getting both of them, Hookfang especially so for some reason). It would be nice to see more of these hard to find figures soon enough though, if this is a new wave.

DragonRider02

I wanted to get a Deadly Nadder figure for a repaint, but all the new HTTYD toys look simply terrible!! Why can't they be as good as the first movie ones?  :'(

By the way, would anyone be interested in buying the glow-in-dark Boneknapper figure? I have one for sale, in Perfect condition, Just without the box.

I just found the Screaming Death re-release recently, and just like the Whispering Death, its a retool. It also got its action feature removed. And got a slight repaint too, looks worse to be honest, and I'll be repainting it myself to be more franchise accurate.

Have the crimson gore gutter or the new dragon riders packs been spotted at retail yet?

I actually just picked myself up that Screaming Death and a figure of Meatlug myself recently (I never posted about it because I forgot to, sorry).

I only recently learned of these sets which I hope I can pick up:

Barf and Belch with Ruffnut:

Skullcrusher with Eret:

Meatlug with Fishlegs:

Deathgripper (basic figure):

I also found a listing for the Crimson Goregutter, but only one pic:

Edit: Well I managed to find and pick up the basic figure Deathgripper at Walmart tonight (as well as the basic figures of Stormfly and Hookfang that I've been behind on getting). Definitely part of the assortment as the Crimson Goregutter, but sadly I didn't see any of those tonight. No luck on finding any of those new rider sets either. Oh well. Maybe in another month or two I'll spot them. These certainly all seem pretty new though, so may need more time to start showing up in stores.

I'll post pics later of my haul tonight, and my previous haul (which was a few weeks ago).
