That might pass for my description of the Recur rex that I just got.
I do have to say, that spinosaurus has some of the nicest scale variation and detail work I've seen in a long while. Really like how smoothly some areas transition from mostly wrinkles to scales.

Got my recur t rex recently and opinion is pretty much the same as Spinosaurus.Material is different though. It's much stiffer and it's a real good thing, details pop even more, what I noticed is that figure is riddled with scars, there are some noticable ones on it's face plus a bunch on its left flank. Thigh and tail also have them, besides the face some look like skin folds at first glance but after you look at them they are definitely deeper and sculpt is a bit different. Makes me wish more companies added scars to their figures, adds a lot of realism to the model and if not it definitely adds character!Messenger_creation_49F12F21-CBBE-44D1-BDD3-AB5604305C68.jpeg
