Haolonggood sure loves making ceratopsids. Will you be getting any of the ones that were shown in that teaser earlier this year?

I'll probably be getting the Styracosaurus at the very least. Ceratopsians and Thyreophorans seem to be dominating my collecting right now.
"The most popular exhibits in any natural history museum are, without doubt, the dinosaurs. These creatures' popularity grows each year, partly because of the recent resurgence of dinosaur movies, but also because a skeleton of a full-sized Tyrannosaurus rex still has the ability, even 65 million years after its death, to chill us to the bone." - Ray Harryhausen

I received a secondhand desk today that was bigger than the one I'd previously been using for work-from-home. Which means I have a bit more space for my dinosaur collection at the moment; once we move in August I'll be able to dedicate a shelf unit to the collection and so everything will be on display together instead of figures cycling on and off my desk.

Since thyreophorans and ceratopsians seem to be where my attention as a collector currently is, they got set up first.

This isn't everything for either group; my CollectA ceratopsians and my Battat Euoplocephalus aren't up at the moment but may join the herd tomorrow.

I feel that there's a certain charm to cycling figures on my workspace. Keeps things fresh whilst having nice company while I work. ;D

Side note, I'm absolutely kicking myself whenever I see a Safari Nasutoceratops with the alternate frill patterning. It's the version I prefer but I waited too long to track it down now that it's retired... Am still happy with my spotted one thouugh.

Yeah, seeing your display now I can clearly see that! I'm looking forward to seeing HLG's Styracosaurus too, and the Diabloceratops for that matter. If they're smaller (in 1:35 or closer) than PNSO's and Safari's versions (respectively), I think I'll replace them.

Oh and when you move, have you considered getting a cabinet for your collection? Some are affordable and take up little room, and they're helpful for protecting your figures from dust. Dusting them individually is kind of a hassle, especially if you have a big collection.

I agree, I also think the banded frill version is the nicer of the two.

I actually had a devil of a time finding a Safari Nasutoceratops at all - it was already retired when I started collecting, and the first site I tried ordering it from just...never shipped it and I had to open a Paypal dispute to get my money back. I found this one on eBay and I'm very happy to have it; I didn't know about the alternate frill patterning until after I'd bought it and I definitely like this one better than the spotted pattern. Either way, it's an incredible sculpt; I consider this the best of Doug Watson's ceratopsians.

avatar_Concavenator @Concavenator this is actually less than half my total collection right now. Some of the theropods and sauropods will likely go back on the desk some time soon as well, but for now having these two groups (and further grouping the chasmosaurines and centrosaurines in their own little clusters) looks very nice to me.

A cabinet's a possibility; I do intend to get one for my painted Warhammer army so I can properly display them (and dusting 300+ tiny goblins is way more intimidating a prospect than 40-50 dinosaurs). On the other hand, the monthly dusting is always an opportunity to rearrange the collection, emphasize different figures, etc. So I have options either way.
