Hello everyone,

I have recently gotten more into the hobby while taking my daughter to various museums and toy shops. Reading the blog and your forum posts is so inspiring!

My goals:
  • Share fun new finds
  • Learn more about anatomy and how to read scientific papers
  • Get advice on painting and modifications (like adding tiny lips)

Recently added to my collection:
  • Mesozoic Life Spinosaurus (unpainted)--this is so nice, although my base has the same fit issues as everyone else's. I am reading Mark Witton's summer of spinosaurs series and comparing it to the artwork there, which is enlightening.
  • Safari Ltd Amebelodon and Plesiosuchus (found these from a random online nature store, feel so lucky).
  • Beasts of the Mesozoic Achillobator--I love the way the open jaw can slide above the neck piece to lock in place.

Hello and welcome to the forum!  :)

Concavenator

Welcome! Hope you have a good time here.  ^-^

Congrats on your recent acquisitions and welcome to the forum here.

That Ambeledon and Plesiosuchus have been retired a while now, so grats on finding someplace that still had them. The others are great additions too. If you do get your Spinosaurus painted up, I'd love to see the results of it.
