Oh, everybody loves those flashy, hollow-crested lambeosaurines. Oooh, they're so fancy! So exotic!

Pfff.

Saurolophines are simply too dignified for such nonsense. Classic profiles such as theirs need no gaudy ornaments. Perhaps a small, restrained solid or fleshy crest, merely to emphasize the noble lines of brow, snout, and beak. I, therefore, acknowledge Shantungosaurus, mightiest of saurolophines, as the best hadrosaur (as well as the most deserving of the name - for it is indeed a "heavy reptile"). Any of the other members of the saurolophine court also would be deserving of the prize. Sleek-skulled Anatotitan, Roman-nosed Kritosaurus, dainty-crested Saurolophus -- handsome animals all!

Parasaurolophus for me!!!   :)
