Hi,
In october i went to the museo Blau, the Natural history Museum of Barcelona, to see the Spinosaurus exibition.

This was the First time that i go to see a dinosaur skeleton, and i was so happy!

Here's some photos (apologize for some bad Quality photos):

In the museum:

In the exibition there are some impressive videos about how they found the skeleton

Finally, the Spinosaurus hall! I was soooooo happy!

An Alanqa reconstruction (Sorry for the bad Quality of the photo:

This Is a good exibition, but, i recommend to see It only One time, if you want to see It, the exibition close the 27 March 2017. I have seen also the (unic) permanent exibition but i have not do any photo. Unfortunately the Souvenir shop open only the Weekend, so, i have not get any model (that was the unic shop where i have seen CollectA models) :( :( :(.

Bigger than a camarasaurus,
and with a bite more stronger that the T-Rex bite,
Ticamasaurus is certainly the king of the Jurassic period.

With Balaur feet, dromaeosaurus bite, microraptor wings, and a terrible poison, the Deinoraptor Dromaeonychus is a lethal enemy for the most ferocious hybrid too.

They really did a great job with the display, it looks very cool and informative.

In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

That's amazing! At first I couldn't get used to the new Spino reconstruction, but now it's great to see it like that! Yesterday I visited Tyrannosaurus, guess this should be next on my list!

Thanks for sharing - it looks like a great place to visit. That statue is, of course, the star of the show, and what a beautiful star too.

Yes, the Spinosaurus now is the star of the entire Museum. I recommend also to see the permanent exposition, the First part have some interesting fossils, like a Dunkleosteus Fossil. This Museum is a Place to visit only A time in the Life, because if you visit 2 times the permanent exposition, it's boring, i Will back in that Museum only if the next non-permanent exibition Is about a dinosaur skeleton.

I recommend also to go in the weekend, because the souvenir shop is open,. And It have many CollectA's (for Example: the Ornihtocheirus and the 1:15 Rex). Unfortunately, i have go thursday...

Interestingly, the exterior statue doesn't make it look like it must be an obligate quadruped. Those are definitely some short hindlimbs, but to my eye it looks like it would still be reasonably balanced if it tried to walk on two legs.

Spinosaurus is my favorite dinosaur. Do you know if this exhibit will be at a museum in the US?
