I saw this on Youtube...I'm a fan of Andy's Dinosaur reviews, although I'm not aware of the problem he faces, but maybe some of you guys are aware of the situation.

Basically him and Collect Jurassic both shared images of Mattel Jurassic World toys that were put up by retailers (Toy Wiz and several others) before their embargo/street dates and/or bought by people in countries outside the US. Collect Jurassic also did a review on some of those toys as he was able to purchase them. Collect Jurassic's instagram and Andy's channel then had received strikes from Mattel, and was at very real risk of losing his entire channel as a result. Apparently there was a mistake or some such, and there was also a lot of community support as well. Either way, the strikes to both were removed. Collect Jurassic is able to post on instagram once again, and Andy should be able to return to making videos soon and can keep the channel in tact. In fact today would have been the day Andy's channel would have been banned had things not worked out as quickly as they did thankfully.
Two of those toys were in fact creatures that appeared in the recently dropped Jurassic World Dominion trailer:

I also worked my tail off the past few days backing up everything from Andy's channel from 2017-2019 on to my external terabyte hard drive, and then some. Once I got news his channel wasn't going to be banned after all I've actually given myself a much needed break, but I will surely keep those files backed up in case anything like this happens again. Would be such a huge loss to the community as a whole if anything like this happens again, never mind Andy himself who spent all those years making all that content to begin with.

Good to know that Andy is gonna be ok, real shame Mattel is going after their own fans for being excited about their stuff. Also Andy always seems to get Collecta dinosaurs earlier, he is a lucky man indeed.

The most likely explanation is that Universal is the one behind it. Either that or someone at Mattel's law department got a bit overzealous. Anything else would not make sense.

Update:

Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

Honestly this whole situation ticks me off. I've never ever seen any of his videos, but for Mattel to take aim at content creators that promote their product to thousands of hungry dino toy fans makes me not want to give them any more money. I'm glad this worked out the way it did, but who's to say they won't do it again? Very disheartening for anyone who finds value in Youtube content in their collecting journey.

The situation looks like Universal had told Mattel to do something (just when the new trailer was about to be released) because until that moment there had been a long time ago many leaks and releases and Mattel didn't seem to care (in fact they were promotioning their products for free).

Am happy to see both recovered their accounts, I like Andy's Dinosaur Reviews a lot, in fact he is one of the very few Youtube channels I follow. I like his voice and how he shows the figures.
