Video showing more of the new upcoming Fierce Changers.
Holy moly, those egg things look weird, but hey, that's the fierce changers for you.

I'm really not into this fierce changers line. Maybe they'll be an underdog hit, but I just don't see the appeal.

Funny how Hasbro sucks at making dinosaurs but succeeds at making Transformers while Mattel sucks at making Transformers but succeeds at making dinosaurs.

Yeah, you have a point, but the ones David Silva made in 2011 were very nice.

They got lucky, lol.

I'm frankly glad Dave left Hasbro - the Styracosaurus and the "Pachyrhinosaurus" he did for the Jurassic line had to be extremely stylized and look awful next to their BoTM counterparts.

In box pics of the wave 2 small HC figures have surfaced. Gotta say I am disappointed with how the baby T. rex and Stegosaurus turned out. I pre-ordered both of those too on Entertainment Earth.

The sculpts are good, but I really do feel like the coloration on the prototype pics were much better for both the baby T. rex and Stegosaurus. The baby Stegosaurus should have had brown or cream, like last year's Legacy figure, not this bright yellow, and the stripes are way too bold (especially on the legs), on the baby T. rex. I mean it really isn't that hard to find images of the animatronics, etc to reference from, and go from there. Just wish there was more TLC overall for this "collector's" line.

Anyways here's the pics (from Toyopolis):

Yikes, yeah the baby Rex received a major downgrade. Certainly not as excited as I was.

The markings on the baby steg's face are the biggest issue for me, the rest looks about right.

At a little over 13 inches long, I don't know that i'd call it a GIGANTIC tracker but the feet are sure gigantic.  :)

I can imagine how the Psittacosaurus like quills are going to be received.  I kinda like the idea, but not the execution.  I kinda like the paint scheme too.  But I don't think BOTM has anything to worry about from this figure...

I don't think BoTM has anything to worry about from anyone, except for Hammond Collection sometimes. Mattel is, for better or worse, not as reliant on vocal fans for deciding what comes next. That does give them some incredible leverage to be honest. BoTM getting to Concavenator or Metriacanthosaurus seems like such a long shot with all of the requests and pushes it is getting.

Cyberzoic? Cenozoic? 1/35th scale hopes?

It's a lot. I think BoTM and Hammond can coexist nicely together.

Blade-of-the-Moon

Mellow Stego

For a second there I thought John Hammond and Dennis Nedry had extra hands to flick off the dinosaurs.
Keep calm and love dinosaurs

Blade-of-the-Moon

I did get the Gigantspinosaurus yesterday. It's not a bad figure, the only one I have of the species so far.

Cretaceous Crab

I started to collect the mini packs several weeks ago, mainly as mechanism to deter me from buying sweets. I'm on a diet (Dr's orders)....the packs cost about as much as a bag of Nerds Gummy Clusters (my most coveted vice).

But I have to say, I've really enjoyed collecting them. I think I like them better than the FK series. Maybe it's the rubbery material and the varying scales. They also make great little "fidgets" (I'm an adult with autism, and have a terrible habit of picking my cuticles almost to the point of bleeding), so I usually have one or two in my pocket.

Having trouble finding the sets though. I really want to a human figure for scale!

Full codes for the most recent wave. Can relate with avatar_Cretaceous Crab @Cretaceous Crab that these are fun to collect and perfect for fidgeting. Small enough to be discrete when you bring it outside, and the rubbery material being pliable & durable enough to avoid paint scuffs and plastic snapping/warping. Not dissimilar to Safari's Good Luck Minis.
