Hi all,

Great to find this place! My name is Andy and I collect the classic Inpro Dinosaurs from the 1970's. My Mum used to take me to a local toy shop every week, where I would get to pick an Inpro dinosaur. I also sent away for the Chivers Jelly set and bagged a Plesiosaur in a gift shop in Loch Ness.

Thankfully, I kept them all, including the Chivers cardboard display. I've managed to find a brand new one in the mailer with dinos still attached and poster included.

I've got loads of spares, which I'll put up for sale at some stage.

Welcome to the forum!

I have that plesiosaur as well, I think, although mine is marked "Dinocrats", I can't remember what the story is there. I posted pictures on the Dinosaur Toy Blog but never actually reviewed it, I should: http://dinotoyblog.com/2009/04/23/plesiosaur-dinocrats/

Welcome! The Inpro figures are charming little collectables. I have a special fondness for the Ankylosaurus. I hope you'll share pictures of your collection with us.

Hello and welcome to the forum! Would be happy to see some pictures!

Welcome Cazza,

Great to have another Inpro fan on board!

I hope you forgive me blowing my own trumpet, but we had quite a good discussion on Inpros earlier this year on my collection thread (page 5 onwards):

There's some nice photos and reminisces there marking Inpro's 50th anniversary.

Hope to see photos of your collection too when you are able.

Crackington, had a good read of that thread. Some interesting info there- thanks.

Haven't worked out how to post pics yet... working on it!

In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

Hi and welcome to the Forum. :)

Duna

Welcome! I'm also an Inpro lover  ^-^ but my love has come recently and from very far away (I'm from Spain). I also have a collection of figures, one of my favourites.

Cazza

Thanks both! Great to be here and nice to see there are plenty of others who love the little beasties like I do!

Jose S.M.

Welcome! Hope you have a great time here!

Hi C @Cazza I notice you're trying to post an image. You have to make sure you use the image file address itself rather that the webpage address it is on. In this case:

That's a great collection you have their Cazza, well done.

The Chivers premium display is a real collectors' item and I haven't seen a yellow Inpro Corythosaurus before - nice!

I also like the old Ladybird book on Dinosaurs. Great display!

Are they the old London Natural History Museum postcards you have on the side? I had some of these when I was a kid.

Gwangi

Great collection and display you have there. It really motivates me to get more Inpro figures. I only have 3 at the moment.

Duna

I forgot to show you mine. I have a few more doubles, too.

Thanks for the kind comments. Yes, those are Natural History Museum postcards. An old lady, who used to know my Mum used to send them to me. Really sweet!

The dinos are all standing on an ordinal magazine advert for the Chivers promotion- really cool item!

Cazza

Think the lighting makes the Cory look more yellow than it actually is!
