There have been no official updates to this campaign since a few months ago.
However, this comment was posted yesterday by a backer:

"I asked David Silva to nudge the team to look around here and should send an update. He responded that he already suggested that but he can't do more unfortunately. He could say the production goes well, the fine cuts are finished, so next month will be tooling (tooling the molds) and David will get in March/April the first testshots- the first actual PVC figures where they checking things out like surface details are enough (not too shallow etc.), range of motion etc. Probably there will be a few rounds of these and after that will come the paintjob. So I doubt during Spring shipping would happen. Max. summer."

Very good news guys. From the newest post:

QuoteBIG NEWS: As many of you know, our team has been working closely with the good people at Eons to bring you the best Wooly Mammoth action figures on the planet. And while our involvement thus far has been limited to product development, I'm thrilled to announce that Creative Beast Studio has been given the opportunity to take the reins on this project moving forward! We've been in discussions lately with the Eons team and we all agree that with our years of experience managing and fulfilling crowdfund rewards, that this will be the best way forward to serve those who have backed the project and beyond. This will allow us the freedom to provide more updates, faster and accurate communication, and a smoother fulfillment process.
As of next Monday, March 17th, the Eons BackerKit store will be closed and the three non-exclusive figures will then be found on our own preorder shop. Those that preordered through the Eons BackerKit will be locked-in to receive their figures in highly collectible, limited-edition Eons packaging! The remainder of the Mammoths production run, which will be sold in our own web shop and other trusted on-line retailers, will feature the standard Beasts of the Cenozoic branding and will remain at the current preorder pricing. If you ordered non-action figure rewards, like the signed postcard or Eons magnet, those are also on track to be fulfilled.
Keep an eye out for our first BackerKit update next week along with survey info and more. Thank you to everyone who's backed this project and we look forward to getting these amazing figures into your collection later this summer!

And posted below in a comment:

QuoteI know a lot of people will be wondering about the fate of the unreleased Gomphotherium, Platybelodon, and Moeritherium- we hope to release them as part of Beasts of the Cenozoic line in 2026!

For the best I'd say although it really gives you the feeling that Eons is choosing to wash their hands of the whole venture

Flaffy

As I suspected. PBS Eons was holding this project back from reaching its full potential.

Good to hear the Moeritherium will see the light of day!
In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

From what I gather, the Eons people would have loved to have promoted Prehistoric Elephants more than they did (which is to so, practically not at all), but PBS wouldn't let them.

I recall reading something similar too. Simply baffling case of unnecessary bureaucracy.

That being said, the way Eons ran the project showed their inexperience too. Choosing not to reveal details about the much anticipated stretch goals until the halfway point was a fumble IMO.

Well, to be fair, they're probably not business-minded people like David Silva. He's an old hand if I've ever seen one. Indeed, he's long struck me as one of the most competent and resourceful persons in the prehistoric toy industry. I mean, really, when you think about it, BotM could have easily fallen flat on its face in the hands of many other people.

I will note that I am concerned about the shipping cost to Canada in light of the horrible situation going on right now. :-\

First(?) look at the upcoming Woolly Rhino. I first learned about this coming back at Legion Con in 2023. Finally some progress, which is exciting to see.

Edit: Updated the op with the new image, added the painted prototype gallery for BotC Andrewsarchus, and 1/18 Smilodon, and a few other things. Still want to do a bit more (such as paintwork for the painted prototype info, etc), but my brain needs a break, and I need to get something to eat.
