Not sure where to post this, nor am I sure if anyone is interested as I've heard that their not exactly the most trustworthy, but Edel is holding a kickstarter for some 1:68 scale jp dinosaurs (pocketsaurus), it's going live on October 30. They do look very nice and at 26 to 28 usd they are affordable. But I'm not sure how trustworthy they are...

Wasn't there something about Edel not being trustworthy?
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

There have been comments in the past on instagram (some which have since been deleted, gee I wonder why?), and on relevant youtube videos, where people have been scammed. Buyer beware for sure.

Never mind about the Patreon scheme they started a while back.

For example, numerous people in the the comments on the video below report having been scammed:

I'm sure I could find other examples if I felt like digging more. Of course there's also the previous Edel Toys thread which has more info on why this is not something to trust one's money with.

Yeah that looks familiar, I don't think I'm gonna chance it.

Thanks avatar_Faelrin @Faelrin for that thorough documentation.
In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

New Edel Pocketsaurus Kicktarter campaign: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/edeltoy/eldels-pocketsaurus?ref=activity

It was pretty dubious how the campaign's site changed during the campaign last year (stretch goals got included into the funding goal after seeing they never will reach them) and now they lowered the funding goal for this new campaign pretty much too. They look nice just it wasn't so hard to trust them.

Blade-of-the-Moon

Yeah I don't think so. Other than trust issues, it seems they just aren't great quality and tend to break?

LBDINO

Hard to trust them I ordered a figure from them over a year ago still nothing, I've messaged them recently and haven't responded at all

Faelrin

L @LBDINO Sorry to see you got scammed from them. I read similar horror stories in youtube and instagram comments.
