Quote from: Stegotyranno420 on March 28, 2023, 09:39:19 PMavatar_Halichoeres @Halichoeres, i think that is the first non-resin figurine of a standing fintail Spinosaurus to be released.
This is a very specific set of qualifications!

avatar_Faelrin @Faelrin, yup, that Mosasaurus was in the 2022 version of this thread. I might have bought it if they'd done a specific, rather than generic, ammonite, or of course if it had come with a fish.

I notice the Spinosaurus foot anatomy is wrong, if I'm not mistaken. This is a rare instance of a fish being more accurate than its theropod accessory.

avatar_Halichoeres @Halichoeres indeed it is, but i do recall many people wanting a more Witton-esque version as opposed to Papos or GR's

Little acrylic dinosaur standees by Gakken:

Tyrannosaurus + Triceratops
Allosaurus + Stegosaurus
Velociraptor + Protoceratops
Diplodocus + Spinosaurus (what?)
Scolosaurus + Pachycephalosaurus

They mostly look pretty 90s but some people might like the quirky format.

Blade-of-the-Moon

must be a new trend. I've noticed anime characters being sold like this as well. I guess they take up less space?

Wouldn't mind seeing another round of their gashapon figures, but in the meantime maybe some people will be into these mini plushes.

Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

This isn't supposed to release until January, but I don't want to start a "new for 2024" thread until there's a "new for 2024" sub-forum. What do you think, mods?

Anyway, Jan 2024 Bandai Plannosaurus Pteranodon:

Eyeballing it, it looks like the skeleton itself might be poseable, but it has different shells for a standing or flying pose.

Also from Bandai, an Anomalocaris and a hot dog that combine to form a vaguely Brachiosaurus-shaped robot:

The good ol' hot-dog-neck dinosaur.

This is part of an everyday-objects-and-animals-become-robots line called Unitroborn. You might enjoy browsing them on HLJ, some of them had me busting up.

Lol you are right, some of those names/mixes are something else, like Crocodile Banana Juice, or High Speed Train Cheese.
