Paleozoo is now offering their Ediacaran models in translucent resin:

Ediacaran Set A: Dickinsonia, Kimberella, Spriggina

Ediacaran Set B: Eoandromeda, Fractofusus, Parvancorina

Charnia

Also, the Bothriolepis and Remigolepis models are being sold at the Australian Age of Dinosaurs Museum web site: https://australianageofdinosaursmuseumshop.com/collections/collectibles-replicas1

Thanks, Tim! I just ordered set 'B' since it's three new taxa in one for me!

More resin figures from Paleozoo:

Hallucigenia

Anomalocaris

Wiwaxia

These are clearly photos of items in hand rather than renders; you can see little spots where the velvet they were photographed against caught the light.

So I had a look and the resin versions seem to be much cheaper then the previous material used. Like with the current conversion rates, the Ediacaran sets are around $30 USD each. Might have to pick them up later on. I like that there is an option to have mixed colors as well, so there's a bit of variety.

I found the lower price of the resin sets to be too much to resist! The Ediacaran Set A and also the Bothriolepis replica are now on their way to me! These will be my first Paleozoo models.

Looking forward to expanding my collection into the Ediacaran once they arrive! Cool that these are the same molds used to make the museum display models. And that fish, it just looks so real. I kind of want the Gogo fish too; it looks like a mini Dunkleosteus.

But maybe Paleozoo is a once a year or two treat...yeesh!

Another one in transluscent resin! Pikaia plus Vauxia:

Something about that color makes me think it looks like a very elaborate piece of candy or the like. Glad to see another join the roster though.

That looks beautiful but man does it also look delicate!

The Paleozoo figures I ordered arrived last month and they are really great. Light hits the resin Ediacaran figures in a really cool way! The Bothriolepis in particular is incredibly lifelike in appearance. Great additions to my "museum". I kind of want the Charnia resin in the 'oil' color now to round out my set and get the 4 available colors...

Halichoeres

It does look pretty fragile. I've never had anything but very minor breakage from a Paleozoo figure (like the extreme tip of a tail), but I don't think I've ever ordered anything this ornate. I think others have had a rough time with the Hallucigenia, which has similarly abundant appendages. Glad to hear you're pleased with your purchases, though! I love my Mandageria and Remigolepis especially.

There is a definite hard candy vibe. I think this one would be mango- or apricot-flavored.

These look wonderful avatar_Halichoeres @Halichoeres

I clicked on the link you posted in the beginning, but they don't seem to have these models? Where else can these be purchased?

Thank you!

Oh man. Love seeing more Ediacaran. Was the new colored resin Funisia shared too? Opabinia as well? Not seeing those above.

I think this Opabinia is the most accurate one yet? I remember the tube mouth from that thread avatar_Flaffy @Flaffy shared.

Edit: I wish they had the Opabinia in a green color too. I like it in green (like the Favorite figure). I really hope these are available later in the year or next year.

Yep, definitely on my list of future acquisitions. I even prefer these over the box set from Kaiyodo.

Halichoeres

Thanks, avatar_Faelrin @Faelrin I only noticed the new taxa and completely overlooked the ones that had only been made in a new format. But you're right, he made some adjustments to the Opabinia compared to the previous edition. I wonder if you emailed Currie whether he would be willing to offer it in green. It doesn't seem like it would be a lot of extra effort.

Sorry avatar_Bread @Bread didn't think to include that. AAoD only seems to be selling the two fish models.
