Stuckasaurus (Dino Dad Reviews)

That's interesting! Too bad it doesn't seem to come with the coelacanth that was previously included with the Pteranodon. That Pachy might be around my preferred scale...

Was browsing the ARTS site to see if anything new has dropped. There really wasn't, but there was at least this set that caught my eye. No prehistoric animals, but the set does have a horseshoe crab which might interest folks here, and may work to stand in for one of its more ancient relatives. Thought it wouldn't hurt to share in any case.

Edit: Appears there is a new Ania set with repaints however:

Edit 2: Some more info here.

Looks like the raptor and T. rex have individual releases, while the others are part of a set I think? There's also a set with the T. rex, Triceratops, and another raptor repaint (red instead of black markings).

The Giant Salamander seems to be the same figure with darker colours as in last year's set here:

Those dinosaur repaints are so vivid that it took me a minute to even realize they'd given some of the animals funky paint jobs as well.

I have an earlier version of that horseshoe crab. It's a chimera, being sculpted dorsally like the Japanese horseshoe crab and ventrally like an Atlantic  ;D  8)  C:-)

It's the 'Friends of the Waterside' series.

The hedgehog looks like it has a little heart shape painted and I find that cute since I have two of them.

As far as I can tell, these are all new sculpts. And on the retro side.

Looks like they are doing a JP 30th set after all. Maybe more too? Good start anyways.

Red T. rex, classic raptor, and a new Dilophosaurus sculpt (which like the HC Dilophosaurus also has slit pupils for the eyes).

Seems to be releasing in June. I hope we get a classic JP Triceratops and Gallimimus from them as well.

Seems to be some repacks of the various Dominion figures from last year as well (such as Pyroraptor, Therizinosaurus, and Quetzalcoatlus, etc).

Hey folks, I've done a massive revision of the OP. Hope it's a much more helpful resource, particularly if one is trying to find a particular thing. Everything uses English translations from Google Translate, but if anyone wants the original Japanese text up there too, let me know.

Not prehistoric I know, but tardigrades (or water bears/moss piglets) are pretty cool little creatures, with prehistoric relatives from the Cretaceous period, if not earlier, so I thought I'd share this in case anyone is interested in a much larger then life figure of one. Seems to be articulated too, judging from the pics, and the google translated description.

This is very exciting for me. I did my college thesis on tardigrades and have a tattoo of two of them. The tardigrade relatives lobopods had great variety in the Cambrian period, though I only know of one that was mass produced: the COG one. At this stage of evolution they strongly resembled velvet worms, tardigrades' closest living relative.

New Jurassic World set. I think all of these are re-releases. Two of these came out last year in fact (Tyrannosaurus and Giganotosaurus).

avatar_Faelrin @Faelrin Near as I can tell it's part of a "Big Ania" line of larger action figures, though otherwise similar in style to the standard Ania toys.

Technically dinosaur themed. Kind of reminds me of Yoshi. Also I am a bit behind on updating the op, but maybe I'll address that tomorrow. In due time I suppose.

Updated the op. Got everything I could find added, with the exception of the new Pteranodon, if not anything else new possibly, as it seems I've reached my limit for the day (access denied). I'm guessing I'm getting booted from it because I'm not actually in Japan.

Edit: Added in some info for product number, price, and release date for those figures whose tabs I still had open before I got the access denied message. I'll need to add in the update for some of the older sets. I'll get the ARTS stuff updated later today.
