Here's a full look at the previous versions of this (I did a lot of digging on this for the DTC site):

2016:

2018:

2019:

2022:

I regret not getting one of the colored ones back when they were available, but regardless I'm glad to see some form of it available again.

I didn't realize there'd been so many revisions... I think I have the 2018 but honestly can't remember when I bought it...

Halichoeres

I wonder why he's stopped offering full-color prints.

Thew new ones are a completely different material, can't print resin in colour the same way you can with sandstone.

A loss! His colour prints were unique and I like them a lot.
Even when one of the models got a scratch the colour remains because it wasn't applied just superficially.

Sure, but why switch to resin at all? We have only rephrased the same question. He had a really unique product. Like postsaurischian, I really liked the full-color prints.

Mcnamaraspis is back! Interesting that the eyes are picked out in a different color.

Resin allows for greater levels of detail, and can allow for more durability, as some newer varieties of resin are quite durable, but sandstone is inherently very fragile in all its varieties.

Concavenator

Out of my collecting scope, unfortunately, but we could definitely use a mass-produced, PVC Tiktaalik figure. I'm kinda surprised we haven't got one (AFAIK), considering how important of a taxon it is.

P.S. Found out there's one by The Life Series, not sure if that counts though.

avatar_Concavenator @Concavenator I have that one, but it's definitely a little fragile resin figure. It's also tiny too.

I agree we definitely need a PVC one, and it's something I've been waiting for now for ages it seems.

#50
Bothriolepis and Remigolepis are also back. I'll get the op updated with these three new figures.

Edit: So I think the only previous models that have yet to be remade in this material is the Acanthostega, ammonite, Dimetrodon, Diplocaulus, Dunkleosteus, Eryops, and Groenlandaspis.

So it seems I haven't been to PaleoZoo for quite a while -
I also didn't know they stopped producing colored figures.

I got me these 3 creatures back then -
But quickly stored them away ... Disappointed they weren't Resin made ...

Oh I see, so no PVC then, I am not familiar with Oammararak's figures. Perhaps CollectA or Safari could step up and offer us a Tiktaalik... Otherwise, I have no clue who would. I think we could safely take PNSO, Haolonggood and Eofauna out of the equation for something like that.

There seems to be one coloured version of the Remigolepis (probably the older release) in stock in the AAOD shop. I've never bought from them before, and I have not checked if there are others; this just popped up in a google search if anyone is looking for one.

Comparing the coloured and monochrome releases, these newer monochrome versions appeal to me more - the sculpts' details are more obvious to the eye! Then again, maybe it's just how the figures were photographed :))

Halichoeres

New Megalograptus! It looks cool as hell.

That looks incredible, and mean, especially in that Coal Cut color option.

I think the Coal Cut option might also be most at home in a non-monochrome collection

Looks great but I think very Paleozoo figure I have ordered with any kind of spine, thin appendage, etc. has broken in transit. I just don't risk it anymore.
