This is the second step.
Rules: as written in
http://www.dinotoyblog.com/forum/index.php/topic,1108.0.html
You have until January 31th (included) to vote. The first dinosaurs win and exceed the second step.
You have only one vote but you can change your vote.
Good vote at all ...  ;)

:D

My vote's for Giganotosaurus. Think about it; you can get two and easily mod one into a Carcharodontosaurus!

ZoPteryx

They'd all be cool, but I most want a good Dilophosaurus, frill-less of course. ;)

I'd actually want an ultra-detailed JP inspired one to go with all the others. :)

This is actually really hard..there aren't a lot of Gallimimus replicas around..but a Giga would be BIG and cool..pretty tough all around.

Ugh, this is a really hard one, but Im voting Dilophosaurus. Giganotosaurus and Ceratasaurus come in second, Gallimimus in third.

Takama

I chose Dilophosaurus because I want one in Papos Style.

I also hope that the Giganotosaurus gets good reception as well,   I dont care if its inaccrate, just bigger then both of there T-Rex's

suspsy

I don't recall the last time I saw a Dilophosaurus that impressed me, so that's my vote.

My thinking is completely personal. I think that you shouldn't choose the dinosaur ONLY because it is your favorite among those that can be chosen. I think the your choice should take into account ALSO which the Papo's dinosaur you think the company can do better (especially from a scientific point of view, because that's where the forum will contribute).

:D

Honestly I'm fairly sure they could all those above well and make money selling them.  So picking a favorite doesn't really hurt.

A Giganotosaurus would be glorious, especially due to a relative dearth of accessible pop-cultural references ( e.g. Primeval, Turok, Dino Crisis)---Papo would (undoubtedly) rely on scientific materials in order to faithfully construct a Giganotosaurus model. It would be superior to Papo's T-rex in every way and it will not be JP-inspired ;)

We still do not have a definitive Giga--the Schleich version is not anatomically sound, and the Safari Ltd. Giga possesses weak (and somewhat splayed) lower limbs (it does have a beautiful cerulean blue paint job, though).

IHogaRok

Giganotosaurus all the way. I find it a fascinating dinosaur.

My thought process:

Ceratosaurus already got a highly-detailed, scientifically-accurate model from Safari last year. This is the last one I'd vote for.

The 2008(?) Safari model does Dilophosaurus justice as well.

Giganotosaurus would be interesting to see, but again Carnegie makes a perfectly good one already.

Gallimimus would be worthwhile to have with the current lack of ornithomimosaurs, but Papo probably isn't the one to make it given their anti-feathers stance.

So I voted for Torvosaurus.

Nice way to break it down. I voted for Ceratosaurus myself though. I know we got one from Safari but it is just such a cool looking theropod, I know Papo could pull one off.

Takama

Wow Giga is in the lead.          I can see it made already 8)

John

The only one that really seems like a long-shot in these choices to eventually appear is the least well known of the bunch,Torvosaurus.I can really see any one of the others showing up from Papo sooner or later (from the looks of it now,it would seem that Giganotosaurus is in the lead).
Don't you hate it when you legitimately compliment someone's mustache and she gets angry with you?

I really dislike the Safari Ceratosaurus, the big feet make it look stupid from every angle.

Me too. It should be big like the Papo Spino, can't wait.  ;D

anchry6

I think the dinosaur dinosaurs which collectors have less need both the Giganotosaurus :-\ ... After the beautiful Giganotosaurus made by Carnegie.    ;D ;D

:D

KeU

I wanted a Dilophosaurus but Papo will most probably use the Jurassic Park model. So Giganotosaurus it is...

I wish papo could make a figure for all of them but there's no figure for torvosaurus, and I think one from papo would be cool.
