By the way, is anyone else excited for the new Papo Carnotaurus and Dimetrodon?

From the choices listed above,I chose based on this...
I couldn't help but notice the obvious similarity between Papo's new Carnotaurus and the Sideshow Dinosauria one,so I figured if they were going to use the statues from that line as a reference point, then why not go for what I consider to be Sideshow's best:Apatosaurus :)
Having the Sideshow maquette of it really makes me appreciate the appeal of a really big dinosaur model. ;D
Don't you hate it when you legitimately compliment someone's mustache and she gets angry with you?

Apatosaurus would still be a welcome substitute if Therizinosaurus does not win.

I just have a feeling if they did a Therizinosaurus it would be un-feathered..or almost completely so. :/

I have a feeling it would be un-feathered, as well (similar to the Oviraptor ). IMO, Apatosaurus would be a better produced Papo model (especially if it is inspired by SideShow).  While Apatosaurus is a common dinosaur, there are no worthwhile retail mass-market interpretations. The recent Schleich Apatosaurus' are both nice but are too retro for serious collectors, and the WS Apatosaurus seems off (the asymmetrical cobra neck bothers me, and the ribbon-like tail is not equipped in an elegant manner....Krentz and SideShow does a much better job).

Chasmosaurus would be nice. It's one of the few DR models that I truly coveted--way too expensive for my taste. Despite being a relatively popular ceratopsian, there are virtually no mainstream representations---the WS Vagaceratops is the closest figure we have to a proper Chasmosaurus.

the new brachiosaurus is a very good figure, despite some scientific shortcomings. But given it's a first sauropod for Papo, it's really good. I'd love to see a second one and apatosaurus would be the perfect candidate (or a diplo of course, but it did not make the shortlist)

Apatosaurus,Corythosaurus,or maybe Chasmosaurus I can see from Papo sooner or later, but Lambeosaurus,Therizinosaurus and Amargasaurus seem more like long shots to me (though Therizinosaurus is in the lead now).

As I've noted before, Therizinosaurus would be a great opportunity for Papo to finally produce a feathered dinosaur. Even if the model only had a line of feathers running from its head to its shoulders, or quills on its forearms, it'd be a step in the right direction.

I agree, it would be quite a sight.  If they promised a fully feathered one, I'd change my vote to Therizinosaurus in an instant! :))

I still think Papo could do an excellent job with a Lambeosaurus though, they've improved so much since their last (and only) hadrosaur, Parasaurolophus.  Lambeo is fairly large too, especially if the go off L. laticaudis (now Magnapaulia laticaudis).  Just imagine if they put it in a bipedal running pose, that'd be awesome! :o

I voted for the Chasmosaurus  ;D because I believe that is the only dinosaur that will surely very well. Here are my fears:
Amargasaurus and Apatosaurus: The Brachiosaurus produced by Papo is nice but has too many anatomical errors. I do not think that would quite sauropod (for now).  :-X
Lambeosaurus and Corythosaurus: The Parasaurolophus produced by Papo has too many errors anatomical ... I'm afraid of other toothed beaks!  :-[
Therizinosaurus: I do not think that will be feathered because the famous appearances are mainly with Therizinosaurus not feathered. :'(

I would love to see an Apatosaurus, but I honestly don't see Papo doing another large Sauropod so soon after the Brachiosaurus.

I remind everyone, that in less than a week can no longer vote ...  ;D

I'm surprised at how many people voted for the Therizinosaurus considering Papo will probably make it featherless like their Oviraptor.

Same here. I really thought featherless Therizinosaurs were outdated..so why the desire for one ?  There is a small possibility it could be feathered..but really I wouldn't chance it since they've not bothered before. There is also not much in popular culture for them to base one off of..Papo's forte.  ???

Today is the last day to vote ...  ;)
Or change your vote ...   8)

I chose to vote for the Therizinosaurus because I have heard rumors that probably next year the Carnegie Collection will make an Apatosaurus.  :-X
