Quote from: Dilopho on November 05, 2024, 03:06:08 AMFigures that come with prey attached aren't really to my liking. It's why I still haven't got their Quetzalcoatlus to this day. But I might have to make an exception for this.

I feel like you could cut the fish out if you wanted to.

No, not particularly...
Im not the sort of person to just admire them on the shelf, I like taking pictures and things, so I like it when you have them doing a range of things.

There's a wishes thread (https://dinotoyblog.com/forum/index.php?topic=10590.0) and a speculation thread (https://dinotoyblog.com/forum/index.php?topic=11377.0), but it would be easy to miss them if you only visit the forum occasionally.

Quote from: Skorpio V. on November 04, 2024, 05:26:56 AMI was under the impression that the Furcatoceratops had a furry coat, but the Everything Dinosaur YouTube upload zooms in on the photos and it turns out that's just thin, lateral, black paintwork. []
Although it might need a repaint to better bring out the regular scale detail, the Furcatoceratops looks great!

So...Furcoatceratops? What a fortunate anagram.
In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

In the end it was not guns or bombs that defeated the aliens, but that humblest of all God's creatures... the Tyrannosaurus rex.

JimoAi

easily the weakest one so far imo

Not sure why but it looks very strange to me. Almost like a human dressed in a bear costume  ::)

crazy8wizard

It's kinda creepy but then again many extant bears are too

BlueKrono

That short face, those long gangly limbs, interesting color choice... I'd say they nailed this one.

Give it to CollectA to finally produce a figure of this one. While I was hoping it would be a Thylacoleo this year to go with last year's Diprotodon, but this is still a much welcomed addition to their prehistoric mammal roster. Reminds me of that Blue Rhino Studio statue.

My mental health has been at an all time low, anxiety at its highest in years, but this was a nice thing to see, especially after wanting someone to do this beast for years now. Takes some of the edge off anyways.

Looks like they are trying to imitate a spectacled bear- their closest living relative.

Not exciting like past week. Also it reminds me to a sun bear

We still may yet get a Thylacoleo. There's at least two more weeks of reveals ahead.

avatar_suspsy @suspsy That would be very nice (since it is sorely needed with Southlands retired for a time now), and I do hope it happens, but I thought they only ever did like one mammal per year? Or have they done more in the past and I've forgotten?

They released three prehistoric mammals back in 2015. Time will tell.
