I'm going to talk about Dawes.

The first time I heard of them was through a friend, who gave me their first album, with the confidence of someone who thinks they are worth sharing great discoveries. Indeed, the first time I heard the album, I was amazed.

Since then I have been lucky enough to go to two of his concerts and have a few beers with the band members. It's a band of youths who have two albums behind them, and are now on their third album recordings.

I find it hard to explain what draws me to his music. Except the lyrics that I think are wonderful, I've no doubt that there are other factors. Maybe it's the way of singing, or improvise different guitar solos for each of the time they play the same song. In short, the freshness that follows his youth, the illusion that a young band uses to succeed in a complicated world, and stay where they want to be. If I'm honest, I have fear that they settle into a comfort of rock stars and don't reach the level where they are today.

What does it matter to me? you may ask. Well, as some old legends say, 'It's Only Rock' n 'Roll But I Like It'. And I need it

Jake Bugg is a great songwriter. I'm glad you like it He has become one of the artists who more I hear nowadays. Although his style may cataloged-sixties, he really is a fresh air to the music scene today.
