You're right! When it comes to music I'm saying the plain truth! I even use the term 'hate' sometimes (which I usually don't).

I agree about Springsteen and Carey;  I have no opinion about Santana never having listened to him;  and who the heck is the last group??   

I just had to amend this post to elaborate a bit:  I have hated Springsteen's music for about 33 years.  I find that he sounds like a caveman, sings like a caveman, and generally his stated opinions on other stuff are predictably shallow and uninformed.

Oh yeah - I REALLY dislike musicians who venture to pontificate about things having nothing to with their music. Just shut up and sing, as someone once put it!

I agree, the soundtrack is just an absolute master piece.

I guess I'll share some of my music then. I listen to any and every type of music, except metal, children's music, religious, and country. My favourite genre is probably a three way tie between alternative/rock/soft rock, electronic/dubstep, and soundtrack/classical.

This is one of my own compositions. I'm just really proud of it so thought I'd share it here. Most of my compositions are Palaeontology based to some degree but this is one of the few that isn't, it's based on Jupiter's icey moon Europa. It's a long one by the way (14 minutes) but I'd really appreciate it if someone took the time to listen to it. It's pretty trancey for anyone who likes that sort of thing.
