well if you sell the Brachauchenius i would bid.

Just buy the whole set, with book, brand new.  Evan with postage to Australia, you;d probably still come out okay (especially if you then sell the Arthropleura, apparently!)

I am so annoyed right now... I got up early today to bid on this. I went in at the last few seconds to place a $50 bid, and I could not access the auction. If anyone else bid on him, did you have the same problem?

If you wait just a little too long--about 10 seconds to go--sometimes the server processing time can actually take too long for your bid to go in.  If that happens--a bid is entered just as the auction ends--that is the message you get. It's the danger of waiting a bit too long to snipe.

Well, obviously--shipping is free!   Also, the seller is a crook.  He (?) can't possibly believe that the figures he's selling are worth that much, or that he's seen them for that much.  It's right up there with adding 'vintage' to dinosaur lots to make them seem worth more.
