This auction is over, but seriously:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/180867931060?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649#ht_500wt_975

That is $33 for one figure from a toob of twelve, that is still widely available for $20 or less:

http://www.amazon.com/Groovy-Tube-Books-Collectible-Figurines/dp/1584769416/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1336742988&sr=8-1

Good for Rob, but I really hope no one here spent that much on it. That's just madness! :o
Wait is that the set with the Brachauchenius in it?

I wonder how much I could get for them if I sold all twelve, one at a time?

Just buy the whole set, with book, brand new.  Evan with postage to Australia, you;d probably still come out okay (especially if you then sell the Arthropleura, apparently!)

Except that the ichthyosaur is in pretty bad shape--and it would be the most sought after one!

The little Velos and Compy from Kaiyodo's Coca Cola JP3 series are always good for in-scale displays :).

Same here.  ???

Curiously enough, I won a few things from that seller, but received a message that at least one wasn't properly completed due to some glitch or other, even though they all came through as awaiting payment for me.  :-\ I've been asked to wait til they get back...

DinoToyForum

Oh dear  :-\ I hope it is resolved without and issue.

I am so annoyed right now... I got up early today to bid on this. I went in at the last few seconds to place a $50 bid, and I could not access the auction. If anyone else bid on him, did you have the same problem?

If you wait just a little too long--about 10 seconds to go--sometimes the server processing time can actually take too long for your bid to go in.  If that happens--a bid is entered just as the auction ends--that is the message you get. It's the danger of waiting a bit too long to snipe.

Well, obviously--shipping is free! ;D  Also, the seller is a crook.  He (?) can't possibly believe that the figures he's selling are worth that much, or that he's seen them for that much.  It's right up there with adding 'vintage' to dinosaur lots to make them seem worth more.
