Hi everyone.  I am David and I have been a dino lover since I was a small child.  I recently pulled my dino-rider collection from storage and will post pics later on.  Upon finding them, I decided to start collecting dinos again.  There are some hot figures out there these days!  Anyhow, it is nice to meet you all!   *orthocone*  What a cool orthocone!   ;D

[Off Nick and Eddie's reactions to the dinosaurs] Oh yeah "Ooh, aah", that's how it always starts. But then there's running and screaming.

{about the T-Rex) When he sees us with his kid isn't he gonna be like "you"!?

Thanks Therizinosaurus!  That is one of my fav dinos btw!  I had one when I was younger (I think it was carnegie?), but my nephew has it now.

Nope,it wasn't produced by Carnegie-but yes from The Dinosaur of China, also, manufactured by Safari Ltd.
You're welcome to this amazing forum.  :))

David Phantomhive

Yeah, that is it!  I remember I had a Mamenchisaurus and a couple of others that were Dinosaurs of China!  Wow...  I wish that I still had them!  Thanks.

Those "Dinosaurs of China" can be pretty difficult to find these days, especially the Mamenchisaurus. I'm still looking for one myself. Welcome to the site and the beginnings of an addictive hobby!

I have the Mamenchi (thanks to Seijun) and I love it, although it's a little outdated these days. It pops up sometimes on eBay, if you really want one.

Thanks Gwangi and Tyrantqueen!  Love to see the ladies really getting into dinos these days!  I gave all of my Carnegie, Invicta, and Dinosaurs of China dinos to my nephew a few years back, but I kept 25 dino-riders in excellent shape, so that is all my collection consists of at the moment.  These newer dinos look way more awesome!  I am liking the newer Carnegie, Safari, Kaiyodo, and Collecta lines.  Any thoughts?

David Phantomhive

Oh, and those Sideshow dinos look spectacular, although they are just a little too pricey for me lol.  :P

docronnie

Kaiyodo... really one of the best, in my opinion. :)
