So that is the true reason some toy Sauropods are rearing! They want to play the piano!
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

EmperorDinobot

#43
Yeah. They have undeniable musical talent.

The one on the left is all alone now. The one on the right will soon be in the home of some very happy customers, and thanks to its bold sacrifice, I will have 100's of new dinosaurs by Christmas!

CityRaptor

Yes, I figure that it should be possible to turn the 500 dollars you got for it into so many.

I already have a list of dinos for Sandy Claws! The final Carnegie dinos I don't have (I think it's just big Carnotaurus and new Diplodocus at this point), all of this year's Safari dinos, all of the new Papo releases aaaand... maybe I'll save the leftovers.

Construction on Jurassic World has begun. It's the old site, but with a new, cool low shelf, and more walking space. Opening late April, 2018.

But that's not all.

Adjacent to the area, we will open Jurassic Water World in June, 2018. It will be a sea research station site featuring several prehistoric  seafaring creatures, from Dunkleosteus to Tylosaurus. I need y'all to help me select some beautiful figures in scale with 3.75 inch tall human figures. Playsets and whatnot would also be helpful. I think Animal planet managed to cover most of what I need.

The REAL chaos is not pictured.

We'll keep mum about that for now.

Shonisaurus

I suppose Emperor Dinobot that will house a considerable part of toy dinosaur companies articulated or not. When everything is ordered, the shelves will be fabled. You see prehistoric animals (mainly dinosaurs) many collections.

When you have everything neat, the room will be magnificent.  :)

Yeah, I thought so. Probably not a good idea to turn around or look into another room. *does that*

@ Shoni oh yes it will be magnificent.

@ City I vacuumed the place and put new lights, and good grief, I feel like I can breathe again.

But now I gotta wipe the dust on the remaining shelves, the dinosaurs, was was wash, oof, it's quite an undertaking.

@mods/admins. How do you merge a thread? Can I or anyone else merge this thread with http://dinotoyblog.com/forum/index.php?topic=771.20 but with this one being my main collection thread?

Halichoeres

It is certainly possible to merge threads but in my experience mods are not very responsive to requests to do so. Most of the mods barely visit the forum anymore.

In that case avatar_Halichoeres @Halichoeres , this is the thread I'm going to use to post new pictures of my collection, rather than the other one. I thought this thread had been locked up for some reason, but I found it after poking a while. Ok let's see. *flexes digits*

I do not remember which issue it was, avatar_CityRaptor @CityRaptor, but it was when Louie, my "tocayo" was found. Stephen Czerzas (sp.?) probably had his hands in this. I am thinking 1998-2001. Think a few years after the debacle that was Archaeoraptor.

Anyways, that was 2012. This is what Jurassic Park looks like now. It is still under construction, but select visitors are now allowed.

My parents are mad that I took over this wall, so we can't see outside. We use my sister's room instead.

The little wooded creek I made almost a decade ago has been overrun by modern and classic figures. I will post more details someday.

The old park, medical center and worker's village continues to be a ruin. It has been difficult to deal with it, but I hope once the airspace is finished, I can get to work on the ground.

This is also my office/game room and sometimes bedroom. At least I have my Safari area kind of under control. Had to move the shelf because behind it there's an outlet, and I use that outlet for the lights that are on my windows. Those lights are a permanent x-mas fixture that's impossible to remove because of Jurassic Park. Also, the Jurassic Waterworld lab on the left is messy, and I use that shelf to store my Switch games, my dust mask, and so forth, but I plan to just use that area for just marine animals, vehicles and labs.

The cool thing about Mattel is that they gave us tons of flying reptiles. Every other day my mom helps me hang like 3 or so. This house as a 3.5 m tall ceiling, and I am 4'10. Even with the ladder I can't get to the ceiling. I also have vertigo so a big thanks go to my mum for helping me along.

Mattel has already given us around 140 or so non-Dominion figures. Spacing issues have become a difficult issue, and this, which was/is a Batman/DC area, will be the shelf dedicated to Dominion toys, many which are currently not on display, as you can see.

I hope that this will not be a once-in-a-decade update, but I do have a grand vision for the park. Dinosaur figures are quickly overtaking my room and displacing other figures I have n interest in selling. The floor area is what concerns me most, because I plan to...we will cross the bridge when we get to it.

Halichoeres

Good gracious, there is room for people to live here? There is some room to be reclaimed by ditching some Batman merch ;)

What an impressive and extensive collection of toys. Thanks for sharing.

EmperorDinobot

No can do avatar_Halichoeres @Halichoeres , Batman is very much a part of this. It is how this whole thing started. I have to say that my acquisition of Batman figures has slowed down hard in the last few years. When I acquired the SDCC Mezco 1:12 Batman Beyond figure, I sort of lost interest in collecting Batman, as this is the epitome of perfection. I will, however, acquire as many of the new Spin Master figures as I can since they are in 1:18 scale, and I plan to finish my 1:18 scaled Multiverse figures from almost a decade ago. I have most of them, like 75/100%, but I still gotta catch 'em all.

avatar_Shonisaurus @Shonisaurus I was wondering when you'd come visit the park. Stay tuned because more pictures will come, but I have not been able to work on it with my mom this past week because her eldest brother passed away on Friday and we have been in mourning since, and we have been conducting a Novena with my family every afternoon. We just kind of dropped everything, but I have been quietly working on some aspects of it, like deciding where the Amber collection figures are going to go (See where the Dominion toys are? They are going to go there, and the Dominion toys will go elsewhere, probably just below because I can reach them better). Another aspect that I have been working on is hunting down the 12 pre-Dominion figures I have yet to own. I am very close to having them all.
