Blade-of-the-Moon

I like both. The downside is most action figures aren't going to be as nice as " figures " .

amargasaurus cazaui

Somewhat akin to Bldes comments, it might not be considered a figure, however the DinostoreUS, Stegosaurus desktop model is perhaps my favorite sculpt of this iconic dinosaur. That being said, it is pricey, resin, and breaks very easily. Obviously a display model only.

If I had been given kaiyodos as a kid, they would have been played with, lol. Some of them are really quite durable.
My living room smells like old plastic dinosaur toys... Better than air freshener!

Blade-of-the-Moon

Same here..though 'm not sure they would survived any better than my Dino-Riders did..the playskool ones even had it rough..lol

So do you guys only care about figures or are you fine with action figures?  Personally I prefer action figures because they are more playable and have more posture.

If your looking for a good looking Action figure Stego, then you best bet is the Lost World Jurassic Park Stegosaurus.

But that is long retired, and thus hard to come by (though this member has some for sale http://www.dinotoyblog.com/forum/index.php/topic,1608.0.html)

The only Action Figure Stego that I know is still currently available is this

Though it may not be the best replication of the species(despite what the descriptors say)

I ask this because when I got my Papo Allosaurus, I was so in love with it, but it didn't quite have the same play-ability as say any Collecta figures, since the Allosaurus felt exactly like a collector piece.

Yesterday I received my Bullyland therizosaurus and now I love that figure even more than the allosaurus, and I didn't even know you could move its arm making it somewhat of an action figure.  I think an action figures can be just as nice as a figures since that therizinosaurus is a fine example of one.

What do you think?  Wow that JP stego is gorgeous!
